… Perhaps the most disturbing movement underway in the left's crusade to divide us along racial lines is the notorious 1619 Project hatched by activist Nikole Hannah-Jones and writers from The New York Times and The New York Times Magazine. With the stated goals of promoting justice and harmony, this initiative distorts history by demonizing America's founding and founding documents. It claims that America's real founding occurred in 1619 with the first documented arrival of enslaved Americans to the colony of Virginia, not in 1776, and that the American Revolution was fought to protect slavery. American Revolution historian Gordon Wood says he is unaware "of any colonist who said that they wanted independence in order to preserve their slaves."

America's most prestigious colleges and universities are indoctrinating their students with this poison, insisting that America is systemically racist and fundamentally white supremacist and requires sweeping structural reform. This toxic propaganda is also being pushed into parts of America's middle school and high school curricula.

"The overriding lesson" of the project, says The Heritage Foundation's Arthur Milikh, is that "young people must learn to despise their nation – its Constitution, ideals, economic system, and its Founders. They must resent and reject their past; possess an aggressive, contemptuous, and disobedient attitude toward the present; and strive forcefully to create a triumphant future where the enemies of old are punished, and the innocent finally rule."

The 1619 Project is closely related to the academic movement known as Critical Race Theory, which began among outlying academics in the 1970s but has now insinuated itself into the mainstream of academic and cultural thought. One of its central premises is that white supremacy is prevalent in America and maintains power through our systemically racist legal system.

The ever-growing acceptance of this insanity is evidenced by its presence in America's military institutions and the seeming powerlessness of those courageously opposing it….

David Limbaugh is exactly right about this issue. He clearly presents the threat and danger the left and these ideas are to the America we know and love. We must preserve our 1776 founding and the founding documents and founding fathers. We must maintain the goals of those who fought for civil rights and a more perfect Union.

“I have a dream”. This vision for us and our present and future building a more perfect Union based on the original 1776 founding must be preserved at all costs come what may.

Democrats are always divided. Republicans have been divided by Trump. Pity.

Being a baby boomer myself, I witnessed first hand during the late sixties and early seventies just how today's critical race theorists got their marching orders from the blacks of that era. Blacks raising their clenched fists in solidarity--be it at the Olympics when black Olympians received their medals with clenched fists to having blacks in my combat platoon do the same thing while ignoring and separating themselves from the rest of our Hispanic and White platoon members. They not so subtlety called us racists et al. We're simply re-living the Malcom X days of a divided society along racial lines.

Today's Left is either a part of or encourage this racial divide in America today. We Conservatives and or Republicans stay as far away from this race/class warfare game that is being played out every day here in America. The LEFT's main agenda is to DIVIDE & CONQUER by any means, and they'll use government to do it at our expense.

Can we have a single thread free of deflections to Trump? Trump is not pushing this garbage.

What part of the 1619 Project isn't true?
How can people be divided unless they decide to divide themselves?

If the project tells truths why is it divisive?
If the project doesn't tell the truth why don't people point out what is false?

Start with the falsehood that the Revolutionary war was fought to preserve slavery. Upon that foundation of a lie, hate for the founding of our Nation is based.

Then tackle this......"It claims that America's real founding occurred in 1619 with the first documented arrival of enslaved Americans to the colony of Virginia, not in 1776, ".......good luck with that

Project writer Nikole Hannah-Jones criticized conservatives for their depiction of the project, arguing that it "does not argue that 1619 is our true founding".

Significant controversy had centered on the project's claim that "one of the primary reasons the colonists decided to declare their independence from Britain was because they wanted to protect the institution of slavery". According to Princeton University professor Sean Wilentz, the claim that there was a "perceptible British threat to American slavery in 1776" is an ahistorical assertion, noting that the British abolitionist movement was practically non-existent in 1776.

That's weird, I am no more divided today then I was under Clinton, Bush or Mr. Obatard. Might just be more of a perspective or Leftist anomaly?

ChiCom was correct in saying that the Republicans had been divided by Trump. Trump's America First agenda that managed to fight against the deep state (which included RINOs like Lizzy Borden Cheney and the entire Lincoln Project) to make sure that these traitors of the Republican party and to America itself will never ever again have a legitimate voice in American politics. Trump glued together all of us pro American capitalists together despite having to fight against government-media spies and traitors from the dem party. The 2022 elections will bring on that much needed Republican control in the House so as to put a stop to this ongoing Marxist insurgence we see from the Left. And Trump will once again be a 'HUGE' part of this Republican Resurgence. Count on it!

According to poll numbers the GOP has rarely been more United than we are now. Sadly at the congressional level the old establishment needs world order elites have an outsized influence as shown by the 35 the other day.

You asked this ......"If the project doesn't tell the truth why don't people point out what is false?"

Then I told you this "
Start with the falsehood that the Revolutionary war was fought to preserve slavery. Upon that foundation of a lie, hate for the founding of our Nation is based."

Then you supported my statement, thanks.

And the Democrats were downright monolithic in 1860. Coincidence?

No they were not. They split into two separate parties, north and south and ran separate candidates in the 1860 election.

I'm not the one self-righteously and hypocritically calling others the divider here that would be you I could care less I'm just one man with my opinion I'm not going to unify any damn body everybody's already got their own mind made up. I,d give you my opinion of liberals but the rules prevent it

The difference between then and now is that the other side wasn’t full of bong-toting , dildo throwing, drug addict effeminate masked up ***** “males” who wear more makeup than their “female” counterparts. Which isn’t surprising given the state of the women on the left and how aggressively masculine they are.

    I like our chances.
