Less the 2% of American whites owned slaves?

"Glorious" LOL - Compared to us they might as well have been living in caves. Even rich people were filthy. They had few of our luxuries. Their lives were dangerous and miserable. Their society was inferior to ours in virtually every way. They were like ape versions of us.

Too bad that those whites could not get themselves enslaved eh?

I am sure with enough whipping they could be made into good slaves.

That is the type of rationalization I would expect from slavers. It would not surprise me.

How were Africans made to be slaves?





When opposing tribes in Africa battled one another, prisoners would be taken by the victors. The victorious tribe would then sell the prisoners to passing slave ships from Europe. This ensured that the prisoners would never fight against them again. If they were unable to sell their slaves they would execute them.

The slave ships conveyed the prisoners to North America, where they were sold into slavery in the southern states. The slaves were traded for cotton, sugar cane, and other wares, which were then shipped back to Europe. This was known as the "triangle" i.e Europe, Africa, North America, back to Europe.
