Let's hope that Trump, McConnell, and Ryan all go ideologically doolally and fantasize that's true.

It was a diabolical plan first achieved by Willard Romney, inspired by Newtie, encouraged by the rightist Heritage Foundation, and recommended for the nation by Tea Party big shot Jim DeMint who praised RomneyCare as "something that I think we should do for the whole country.”.

Totally agree. There are a group of snakes on both sides of the isle who have one agenda and that is preservation of their fiefdoms. They don't care what we say or think. Our money is so insignificant compared to the lobbist's who represent different factions of the health care industry.

By refusing to say if he will fund the cost sharing each month, Trump has eroded confidence in the insurers.

or you can just continue to ignore reality

After the Senate vote, and repeal fails, Democrats and Moderate Republicans will finally sit down and start working on a plan to stabilize the individual market.

Your trying to take the money out of DC. The "SWAMP MONSTERS" will never allow this to happen. We need to invoke Article V of the Constitution and have a an amendment Convention of the States and take back control of our government. WE the People.

Swamps are habitats. Trump's toxic waste landfill is not an improvement.

Get the hardcore ideologues out of the way, and progress to the preferable, proven paradigm of all advanced nations.

You see, that's been the modus operandi from day one. Which translates into purposely "making it fail". Forget the fact that even with the strategy of Republican governors turning down the expansion "to make it fail" it still enjoys popular support.

As if no one held to account Obama right when he said you can keep your doctor?

They do not care about proven paradigm's of other advanced nations, and they do not care about HC. They care about tax cuts to the wealthy. They want to fulfill "their campaign promises" to the rich, not the sheep who voted them into office.

Really..because before you may have been literally throwing your money away to an insurance company, only to find out after you file a claim, they refund the last month of your premium followed by a nifty denial of claim, and coverage letter due you "lying" about having a pre-exisiting condition.
Seems you forgot what their law team could conjure up to fill the definition of a pre-existing condition.

    "

Growing up, Michael Lujan didn’t have health insurance. His father was an entrepreneur who didn’t get health insurance through his work, so going to the doctor was reserved for extreme situations. This made Michael an unlikely candidate to work in health insurance. But after taking a career aptitude test in college that led him to his first job interview, he took a health insurance job before even considering other potential offers.

Michael has now worked in healthcare for over three decades. His first role was to investigate potential pre-existing conditions. He took pride in how efficient he was until he was promoted to a customer service role where he started to really understand how his work was leading people into dangerous financial situations, like medical bankruptcy. Michael realized he wanted to be on the side of getting people covered, not denying them coverage—so he became a certified healthcare insurance agent.

But then Michael’s mother was in a car crash. Her insurance had lapsed after she didn’t log enough hours for the home health agency she was working for. And while Michael thought he understood what was at stake in the current health care system, it was this experience —being a health insurance agent that felt powerless to help his mother— that led him to believe that the system was truly broken.

Woman's Double Mastectomy Denied Over Disputed Acne Treatment. CNN reported that in 2009:

Robin Beaton found out last June she had an aggressive form of breast cancer and needed surgery -- immediately.

Her insurance carrier precertified her for a double mastectomy and hospital stay. But three days before the operation, the insurance company called and told her they had red-flagged her chart and she would not be able to have her surgery.

The reason? In May 2008, Beaton had visited a dermatologist for acne. A word written on her chart was interpreted to mean precancerous, so the insurance company decided to launch an investigation into her medical history.

Beaton's dermatologist begged her insurance provider to go ahead with the surgery.

    [...]

Still, the insurance carrier decided to rescind her coverage. The company said it had reviewed her medical records and found out that she had misinformed them about some of her medical history.

Beaton had listed her weight incorrectly. She also didn't disclose medication she had taken for a pre-existing heart condition -- medicine she wasn't taking when she originally applied for coverage.

Thousands Of Americans Have Been Denied Health Coverage And Care
Twenty-Five Percent Of Adults Under 65 Say They Or A Family Member Have Been Denied Coverage Or Charged More For Having Pre-existing Condition. According to a June 2013 survey from the Kaiser Foundation, one quarter of respondents under 65 "say that they or a family member has ever been denied insurance or had their premium increased because of their pre-existing condition":

Americans with pre-existing medical conditions often face problems in getting and retaining good health insurance coverage, an issue dealt with directly by ACA in its "guaranteed issue" provision, which prohibits insurance companies from denying coverage to individuals on the basis of health status or pre-existing medical conditions beginning in 2014. The June survey finds that roughly half (49 percent) of adults under age 65 say they or someone in their household has a pre-existing condition, and many of them report problems related to getting and keeping insurance.

One quarter (25 percent) of these individuals (14 percent of all non-elderly adults) say that they or a family member has ever been denied insurance or had their premium increased because of their pre-existing condition. Further, nearly one in ten (9 percent) of these individuals say that in the past year, they or someone in their household has passed up a job opportunity, stayed at a job they would have quit otherwise, or decided not to retire in order to maintain their health coverage. Citizens United reduced Article V to a big laugh on the people at "we the people's" expense.

No thanks. We enjoy being free and independent. If we can just get some of our sorry asses off the tit of government we will be just fine. Trump's the best thing that's happened to this country since Regan.

Trump and the GOP can not pass anything...so they will deliberately do everything in their power to MAKE the ACA fail.

THAT will cost 33 million their healthcare and raise premiums for everyone

Except it was actually true. If the hijack hadn't started in earnest from the get go and there had been real cooperation, that statement would have held true. Obama wasn't counting on the Right to deliberately throw a monkey wrench in the bill.

Well I only live one life..so I am selective..Perhaps I am naive...but I prefer to error on the side of the golden rule.

But feel free to point out the neive part in the post...At the moment those that seem naive are the ones hoping the totally unregulated free market will provide health coverage security.

The privileged elite who have been gorging themselves in recent decades, and yet crave even more, are dependent upon the ideological dupes.

Meanwhile, the People demand a decent, economically sensible health care system such as enjoyed by folks in advanced nations.
