$2T a year for seniors, 47% of people receive food stamps, 21% on Medicaid and growing fast, 14 million on disability, 47% of people are net takers from the government, and blacks as a group take more from government than they give, and you wave off welfare? your moronic sensibilities are why the USA is dying

then refute the links I posted, I don't give a rat's ass about you being black, and that sure doesn't stop you from making comments about me

No flat income tax, but negative income tax is a good idea.

    Let em die?

    Let em starve?

    Let them die?

Fire them? They are too injured to earn a living.

    Present a reformed tax code.

    Ethnic group is relevant how?

The U.S. isn't dying. You want it to die.
I already did. You will find a group of data and statistics to draw a blanket claim about black people. That is called GENERALIZATION. Generalization leads to stereotypes, prejudgement, and lack of tolerance. Since you are throwing blanket claims on black people, I'm going to imply that you are racist, regardless of how much "data" you present.

"Southerners are stupid." They have lower graduation rates than northerners in high school, college, and higher level degrees. I can provide data to validate the statement. Does providing data excuse my first statement?

Well, it might be difficult but if she can manage to get a fourth job, then that would probably be the best option.
As for raising her kids, are you really sure that's something we even want poor people to do?
Seems that if poor people raise their own kids, they just end up being poor like their parents.
If she really wanted to raise her kids though, and not just have the daycare/babysitter(s) do it, there are some other options.

Also, depending on work schedules, I understand that getting a fourth job may prove too difficult for some,
so other alternatives might include finding a job that would allow her to take her children to work if they are young.
With more women in the workforce, lots of companies have been starting to allow that in recent years.
    http://www.businessweek.com/articles/2012-10-15/bringing-your-child-to-work-everyday

That way she does not have to deal with a lot of the costs that come from daycare and babysitters and she gets to raise her kids personally.
If the kid is older than say like 2 or something then they can probably just stay at home alone, most kids around that age are old enough to take care of themselves for a few hours while Mom is away. When her kids get even older, she should have them get part time jobs to help out with any remaining costs.

    *Facepalm*

Why do you hate poor people so much??!?!?!

Look, poor people are allowed the same rights as you, so stop implying that poor people are inferior to you. All men are created equal. This elitist attitude is why people do not like conservatives.

True, but irrelevant. Poor people deserve the same rights in this country. Class warfare.

Usually family. What if she has no family? Trust, it happens.

Sounds good in theory, but most companies don't want children running around.

Are you seriously suggesting toddlers stay home alone?

was refuting your BS about only 4% on welfare, since you cannot respond, I consider that non-answer your surrender on that point

government taking in record revenues, I present cuts in welfare

Are you kidding me? nobody is that stupid

that's really sad, are you that challenged that you don't understand the arithmetic? It's all over the economic news, try reading it

Columbus Africentric represents the black education efforts for a metropolitan area of over 1 million, it is in fact a generalized result and what it says is not anecdotal. We all know the sorry state of black high school performance, are you denying it? Notice how quickly and reflexively you pull out the ad hominem at me when presented with reality? that pisses white people off, you refuse to work with reality.

Does their lower graduation rate hurt the nation, and can you show similar results wherever southerners choose to gather in number? If you can show yes, go for all the 'stupids' you want, but be careful since it is black people weighing that number down.

I don't think you understood me - if said mom is making more BECAUSE of her kids, than said kids are also welfare reciepients.

There's no easy solution at all. If the problem is that welfare pays much more than minimum wage, there's no real incentive to get off welfare. Worse, you have a mentality developing where it's okay to have kids out of wedlock because Uncle Sam will pay for 'em all. It's at the point where it's being satirized. Heck, go to YouTube and search for "It's Free Swipe Yo EBT". I'm not linking it as it's somewhat NSFW, but if you really wanna see it, you know where to go lol. But essentially, all that's left to do is either 1) completely limit it to one person older than age 18 and one child for five years with no additional people added on, or simply stop it altogether from a certain date a couple years in the future. Not exactly good options, but at this point what else is there? People on welfare are rapidly becoming (if not already) like my brother-in-law, who's 45 years old, has no job, and is STILL living with his mother because she's never gonna stop giving him free room and board (until she dies) - and when that happens, he's gonna have to grow up REAL fast. Somehow, welfare became the financial and possibly moral equivalent of parents to some people.

The statistics were right there. 4.1% of the population is on welfare.

I'd go after unemployment benefits first. Cut those.

You think blacks are inferior intellectually, yet have no science to prove it. You cherrypick data of struggling blacks in the inner city, which is a product of the inner city.. NOT your ethnic group. Poor people do poor in school.

Unemployment is dropping, and my stock portfolio had its best year yet. The evidence around me says the economy is improving, despite what you want to happen.

No, it pisses bigoted white people like you. The white people I work with don't have a problem with me or black people.

Any low graduation rate hurts the country.

I will not sit here and entertain your racism. I just really hope you contain it in public. One of the privileges of being white is holding this view and never having it impact your life. I don't have the luxury of generalizing all white people as racist pigs, or some other inaccurate stereotype you are arguing in this thread.

    Have a nice day.

On the risk of sounding like a libertarian, it is not the state's call to dictate someone's family structure.

Having an out of wedlock child is not a crime in this country. It is not up to the state to determine how many children or at what age one may have children.

I'm sorry about your brother-in-law. When using that similar analogy to welfare, that is not enough to give the state power to make a broad sweeping policy decision like that. Some people actually CHOOSE to have children out of wedlock for reasons other than welfare.

I agree, however is it also the states (and the taxpayer's) responsibility to fund these very same children? See, that's the missing element here - the responsibility that should be on the parents shoulders has now been taken by the government. We are essentially subsidizing this behavior.

I don't hate poor people but the point is they are poor for a reason. If they had a stronger work ethic and more intelligence then they would not be poor, because that's all the rich do to get their money; work hard and make smart decisions.
The poor don't work hard and or they don't make smart decisions, which is why they are poor.

You even admitted yourself that their negative traits and attitudes get passes along down to their children.
I'm not saying its the best thing in the world for biological parents not to raise their children,
but why should we expend effort in perpetuating a culture of poverty?

Leave it to a lib to simply scream class warfare at every given opportunity.
Poor people start off with the same rights and opportunities as everyone else,
only difference is what they choose to do with those rights and opportunities. Their choices lead them into poverty.

Poor people tend to have the largest families, especially poor blacks and Mexicans.
If they don't though, there's always the other option I gave of taking the children to work.

Nobody wants children running around, trust me...
But if there are no other options, then what can you do?
And yeah,...if a toddler can dance to hip-hop, then surely they can stay out of trouble for a few hours while Mom's away.
    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pceio4hOmFQ

And again, I'm not suggesting any of this is desirable, maybe the mother should have thought about that more when she was 14 and getting knocked up.
That's what we all living with the consequences, but If you don't like it, then what would you suggest to solve the issue?

    Well, regardless of anyone's opinion.

All welfare, including unemployment assistance, government housing programs, medicaid, etc. totaled $401 billion. for 2013.

This is roughly 10.6% of government spending for the year.

    That is approximately

Yes, that is why the are poor. However, there will ALWAYS be poor people in a capitalistic society. It is the nature of the beast. Rather than condemning them, at least accept that they are poor and their living situation is different than yours.

A poor person will usually end up poor yes. This does not make them an unproductive member of society, which is what you are implying. The reality is, the rich need the poor to be poor in order to be rich. For if there is no gap, there is no one to call rich.

No, that is where you are wrong.

Poor people are awarded the same legislative rights. However, the opportunities are NOT created equal at all. You know this. Poor people have less opportunities to escape poor. Rather than calling it their fault, at least acknowledge the reality.

    Yes, true.

I know this isn't a serious statement. How is this relevant in any way to leaving children unattended?
Because all 14 year olds choose to get knocked up? Sure, it happens. What of the women that are raped at that age?

You can't condemn people for their choices in life. It is their lives to live and make due with it.

A billion here, a billion there, and soon you're talking real money!

But that's not the point, though - the point is, SHOULD we be paying this much for it at all? At some point, shouldn't there be limits on how long someone can draw off their EBT card or suchlike? I dunno - four years total on food stamps, and that's it, something along those lines? Then again, I bet even THAT would somehow be abused. And even worse, is not saying that the taxpayer has your back if you have kids out of wedlock essentially subsidizing it when one does? Haven't we been removing responsibility from the equation, to wit: If kids knew there wasn't gonna be a check from Uncle Sam to draw on, they'd be a lot more careful before having a kid?

I think the actual number of women who get raped and have kids is a statistically insignificant number compared to the ones voluntarily engaging in sex. I have no problem with helping the former; it's the latter that's an issue. And the issue isn't one of condemnation but rather that if it really is THEIR lives to make do with, then why are WE continually paying for it?

School taxes are paid by property tax. If a White moves out and a Black family moves in, the property tax is just the same.

welfare is not restricted to only able bodied on 100% support

Only every test we have ever devised

Blaming the city now? here's a clue- cities are made up of people. I live in Ohio, and Columbus Africentric was supposed to be a shining example of what black people can do, it was really a racist high school based on black nationalism. It represents the best black efforts of an entire state and it failed miserably. It is in fact a proper generalization.

poor white kids do better than richer black kids

7% is not a good unemployment number when you consider the labor force participation rate, stocks are ok but the stock market is not the economy. The real problem is the government debt bubble that this crappy recovery was built on. If anyone thinks a 2.5% GDP with 4% GDP deficit is a good economy, all I can say is that you don't know very much.

they don't dare confront you with what they really think

What planet are you on? The very reason the honesty I present here cannot be confronted in the public discussion is because the liberal PC NAZIs stop it before it can get anywhere. Not only do you have the luxury and I don't, the view that all whites are racist pigs is quite fashionable.

Out of wedlock pregnancies aren't thinking about receiving welfare. They are thinking about the sex -________-

Believe it or not, a lot of people don't even receive sex education. In the inner city, many don't even know better.

    Um, sure..I do accept it.

So what you're saying is you want the children of the poor to remain poor so that we can continue to have rich people? :?

What makes you think that the poor aren't afforded the exact same opportunities that the rich started off with?

I'm just saying, kids now-a-days are able to do all this amazing stuff, so what exactly is going to happen if they're left alone at home for a few hours?
Just leave 'em a sandwich or something (though if they're able to do stuff like play guitar and dance hip-hop, they should be able to do that themselves),
tell them not to go outside, not to let anyone in, leave the doors locked ect...

What would you propose as an alternative solution?

Property taxes do not make up all K-12 education funding, at least not in my state. There is state and federal money involved in addition to real estate tax revenues.

If your a decent guy, you won't. I said many times I think racism has more to do with conduct than the color of one's skin I think you might just be a pretty decent guy and if true, the people you work with won't care what color you are.

    Not really.

The view that a significant amount of conservatives are racist is "quite fashionable", mainly because it's based on reality.

Probobly so, but that still wouldn't effect the funding of the school if a White moves out and a Black moves in. Is the government going to cut funding just because of that? The property tax should remain the same.

I think if it got out that the unlimited checkbook was about to become VERY limited, word would get out rather quickly.

It all gets back to rebuilding the family unit which is SUPPOSED to be doing the sex ed for the kids. And let's grant that in the inner cities they don't know better, they of a surety know about welfare and EBT since it appears to be what's driving a considerable amount of the economy and I'm sure what parents are there have discussed that with the kids. Heck, go to Urban Dictionary and check out the second and sixth definitions of "Mother's Day" - again, no link since it's NSFW. And my kids in class taught me about that one. Yeah, they have some clue about it.

    It includes corporate as well.

Please enlighten me. I have black friends that have scored higher than 2200 on their SATs. I have met blacks through my organization that have fellowships to MIT, and / or have graduated from the finest schools in this country - Harvard, Yale, you name it.

    Please, enlighten me.

I've never even heard of Columbus Afrocentric. You should be looking at blacks that go to the same suburban schools as their white counterparts, not some Black Panther reiteration.

    Evidence.

    That is bull(*)(*)(*)(*).

Show me some more cherrypicked data.

7% is an improvement from the 10+% from the recession.

Government debt explosion is the result of the recession, not vice versa. A recession causes lower tax revenues.. hence increase in debt.

Deficit spending is general good for economy. Every major economic expansion in this country was done in deficit. Surpluses don't grow the economy.

So now you speak for all white people?

    Nice try.

I don't view all white people as racists.

See what you don't get is that minorities are MINORITIES.

No matter how much a minority may hate whites, it is irrelevant in this country because this country is a white man's country. The justice system is white. The government is white. The stock market, economy, popular media, school curriculum - WHITE WHITE WHITE

I merely call you what you are. Other white people on this forum agree with me. Your posts smell like racist pig (*)(*)(*)(*).

More on Columbus Africentric high school which is intentionally all black since they want to teach the 'African' way. First they get above average funding, due to white guilt. They don't call instructors teachers, they call them 'nation builders'. Students there will learn valuable job skills like Swahili, but the main theme is that liberals claimed that they could teach black kids better in an 'African' environment, with a huge athletic complex of course, all at taxpayer expense.

Here is the fight song (Baba is the title for a male teacher):

Chalk up another massive and costly liberal race based failure, way below state average in math and reading. Will they change? why should they, whites will keep paying
