Schiff needs to cast some hot women (or men). T&A will boost the ratings.

Skin sells. Trust me on this.

Specifics? well for one,she didn't see any impeachable offences yet she became a shill for the resistance. All she could do is answer questions as to how she felt about getting fired.....oh boo hoo.

She may get paid millions for a book that sells millions; I cannot wait until this gets to the senate as well since it will mean that trump was impeached by the house (just like clinton was) and will have that stigma with him for the rest of his life. Given the tenor of your post, its obvious that you recognize the democrats are correct in this; sometimes the truth is a bitter pill to swallow isn't it?

Trump is the best friend Australia has ever had. Now that Obama is gone, you can once again cooperate and train you on all the military equipment we sell you. Trump keeps your country safe from those that would do you harm. Obama refused on multiple occasions.

You must be thanking him every day for his help and cooperation.

Thanks for the link. I skimmed it and will read it in more detail later. I think Ukraine has to be viewed in light of its history and more recent civil wars. There are broadly two factions...pro-Russian Ukrainians and anti-Russian Ukrainians. Both sides have elements of corruption and this elements have international contacts. Generally, we support the anti-Russian Ukrainians, based on Russian actions under Putin. Trump, on the other hand, apparently supports the pro-Russian Ukrainians. So...I don't find it unusual that the anti-Russian Ukrainians were supportive of Clinton vis a vie Trump.

What is puzzling to me is why would Trump essentially reopen the Mueller investigation? For a variety of reasons - IMO some legitimate and some not - Mueller concluded that he could not, at the time of the report, produce sufficient evidence to charge anyone in the Trump campaign with conspiracy with the Russians. Nor did Mueller pursue "obstruction of justice" charges. IOW, Trump was essentially "exonerated" in the public mind, if not legally. Why then would he reopen the investigation to pursue a debunked Crowdstrike Conspiracy theory, immediately after the Mueller report was released? One possibility is that Trump wants to produce "evidence" that it was the Ukrainians helping Clinton INSTEAD of the Russians helping him. This could be because he "owes Putin" something, or to justify (in the public mind) pardons for Manafort, Flynn, Stone, and others who may have some type of evidence which is problematic for Trump.

That is not her job or her responsibility to identify impeachable offenses.

True...this is an impeachment inquiry. The accuser will be the House of Representatives when and if they vote for articles of impeachment.

Their relationships to Burisma. If the Biden's were braking the law, it was perfectly appropriate for Trump to ask the President of the Ukraine to coordinate with the US AG........NOT his campaign.

She'll get paid millions for selling 50 books. The Senate will grill Biden like a cheeseburger.

There is evidence that Trump fired her because of accusations his state department knew to be false at the time and because two indicted associates of Giuliani funnelled money illegally into Trump's Super PAC while they lobbied trump to fire her.

Biden may refuse to appear, just like most of trumps staff has done. You've got a nothingburger on this one.

Trump's staff are the White House Staff protected under executive privilege. Joe and Hunter are private citizens and can go to jail.

She was never fired. Both Presidents recalled their ambassadors because they were both working against them. Zelensky had no trust in Yovanovitch because she did not accept him and favored the last corrupt President.

About what? You have the transcript of the phone call now calls as Trump released the first one too and the fact the military aid which was delayed a mere 55 days was released without any quo from Ukraine. Why are we holding this inquisition and so what some hold over Obama people aren State didn't like it?

Everyone knows that bureaucrats are always looking for a "cush job" - it is their reason for being.

“Bureaucracy is a giant mechanism operated by pygmies." Honore de Balzac, from
The Government Clerks (Les Employés, 1838; first published as la Femme supérieure, 1837, a.k.a. Bureaucracy)

Honest bureaucrat is an oxymoron, and everyone knows it.
Especially those who pretend they don't.

"In bureaucracies, power tends to concentrate in the hands of a few people at the top. These people then use their position to promote their own interests over the interests of the organization. Sociologist Robert Michels called this tendency of organizations to become increasingly dominated by small groups of people the iron law of oligarchy."

Robert Michels, Political Parties: A Sociological Study of the Oligarchical Tendencies of Modern Democracy, 1915, trans. Eden and Cedar Paul (Kitchener, Ontario: Batoche Books, 2001), 241, http://socserv2.socsci.mcmaster.ca/~econ/ugcm/3ll3/michels/polipart.pd

The President of the United States sets foreign policy. These butt hurt Leftist bureaucrats are pissed off, because they want to follow their own policy.

"The delay was the quid pro quo."
    - Andrew Napolitano

And the phone calls are damning to Trump because you now have explicit request from Trump personally to investigate Joe Biden directly.

We are holding this investigation because Trump allegedly abused his power and obstructed his justice.

There was no quo although the United States engages in quid pro quo's routinely with other countries. Vindman testified that is was normal to hold us such aid to insure US policy is being maintained. It was and 55 days after the hold the aid was sent. Nothing damning in the transcript and in fact it's accuracy was attested to by Vindman and there is no obstruction of justice here or being inquired about here. The entire Biden/Ukraine oligarch scandal NEEDS to be FULLY investigated what are you missing there?

As testified today, two important reforms were accomplished. The funding was released without anything in return.

If that is true, then they can always plead the fifth. The senate won't get any answers out of them.
