    Derp State Coup

“So ‘Andy’s office’ told Scott Pelley of “60 Minutes” that he and some of his derp staters want to nullify the duly elected President Trump via the 25th amendment and claim Trump was unable to fulfill his duties as president because RUSSIA. Of course, this amendment is for a president who is IN A COMA or literally incapacitated, but this is the logic coming from the agenda-driven dummies now populating the FBI and DOJ.”

Once you’ve convinced yourself that your job is to protect the proles from themselves, any foul action you take becomes excusable, or even noble. That’s progressivism in a nutshell.

Just more proof of an Obama/Clinton + supporters coup attempt on the duly elected President of the United States.

I fully expect a 2nd Special Council by our new AG and many Democrats to be thrown in prison for their attempt to destroy our country.

The DOJ has no power to do anything related to the 25th Amendment (except advise their lead, the Attorney General) who would be one of the cabinet members involved.

So true...which makes the move by McCabe and the Obama DOJ holdovers all the more dangerous. A failed attempted coup.

And I fully expect Margot Robbie to show up at my house tonight in a string bikini.... I wish us both luck!!!

On topic, this is a little surprising because I always thought the 25th amendment was supposed to originate from the presidents cabinet, which will never happen since most of them are the barnacles on the SS Trumptanic.

If they were going to recruit people to have the danger to the country removed, it should have been along strictly impeachment grounds. Pursing a 25th amendment path always seemed to be a waste of time to me.

(off to brush my teeth in case Margot comes by)

Apparently McCabe is now trying to walk that back. Stupid to come out on national media and declare he was an active un-elected bureaucrat trying to overthrow a duly elected President.

His medical report just came out and said nothing about a mental health issue. As far as incompetent...I don't know...maybe he has surrounded himself with very competent people...(which is a sign of competence) either way, we got a booming economy, strong foreign policy...things are great in America today, and I'm ok with that

Trumpublicans are so dramatic. Next they’ll be saying that voting him out is a “soft coup” lol

    Complete fabrication.

    AFTER THE COUP IS GONE:

“The tale we’ve been told for more than two years—that Donald Trump’s campaign team, possibly even the candidate himself, colluded with the Kremlin to influence the outcome of the 2016 presidential election—has been exposed as a lie. Various investigations into this alleged conspiracy are coming up empty and the accomplices are trying to change the subject. Even more pathetically, some still are clinging to the farce, desperate to salvage whatever still remains of their already sketchy credibility.”

Does this mean you're finally willing to accept the results of the 2016 election then?

Sorry, I missed it, what was the justification? Even the disgraced Strozek said he didn't think there was anything to the Russia conspiracy theory. You're OK with these tactics being used on the next Obama?

Pretty crazy given Strzok's statement about stopping Trump and a plan B in case he won. You forgot this from the report:

"The inspector general concluded that Strzok’s text, along with others disparaging Trump, “is not only indicative of a biased state of mind but, even more seriously, implies a willingness to take official action to impact the presidential candidate’s electoral prospects.”

The messages “potentially indicated or created the appearance that investigative decisions were impacted by bias or improper considerations,” the inspector general wrote."

And this, "Horowitz says he found no affirmative evidence that Strzok skewed his decision-making for political reasons. But he says he “did not have confidence” that Strzok’s decision in the campaign’s final month to prioritize the Trump campaign/Russia probe over new Clinton emails on Anthony Weiner’s laptop “was free from bias.” He writes that Strzok and other FBI employees “brought discredit to themselves” and hurt the bureau’s reputation."

Makes you wonder how a mentally incompetent person could be a billionaire and defeat the smartest woman in the world, who had 90%+ of the MSM on her side.

They claim they wanted to protect the country from a dangerous madman, isn't that what Lee Harvey Oswald said?

I'm sure Rosenstein is gone as soon as Barr is confirmed.

These idiots apparently wanted to use the 25th amendment in lieu of impeachment? Liars and Morons.

Stop the Impeachment Fishing Expedition: Congress has no business investigating the president for conduct that occurred before he took office.

As William Barr begins his term as attorney general, House Democrats are aiming a “subpoena cannon” at President Trump, hoping to disable his presidency with investigations and possibly gather evidence to impeach him. Mr. Trump fired back in his State of the Union address: “If there is going to be peace and legislation, there cannot be war and investigation.” To protect the presidency and separation of powers, Mr. Barr should be prepared to seek a stay of all congressional investigations of Mr. Trump’s pre-presidential conduct.

The president is not one among many, as are legislators and judges. Crippling his ability to function upsets the constitutional balance of power. For this reason, the Justice Department’s Office of Legal Counsel has repeatedly concluded that a sitting president may not be indicted or prosecuted. The same logic should apply to congressional investigations.

Congress is targeting Mr. Trump’s actions before becoming president because there are well-established constitutional limits, grounded in separation-of-powers doctrine, on its ability to investigate his official conduct. In U.S. v. Nixon (1974), the Supreme Court recognized a constitutionally based, although not unlimited, privilege of confidentiality to ensure “effective discharge of a President’s powers.” In Nixon v. Fitzgerald (1982), the justices held that presidents and ex-presidents have absolute immunity against civil liability for official presidential acts.

Oswald strenuously denied that he shot JFK and was himself dead in two days at the hand of Jack Ruby.

Dude, being afraid the POTUS may fire you is NOT justification for starting an investigation. Furthermore, Trump may be a jack ass, but that is NOT a justification to invoke the 25th.

This is actually close to sedition or treason.
