It doesn’t matter. If he used the office to benefit his family rather than the American people he most definitely is guilty of abuse of powers. He also may have personally benefited from those interactions with Hunter himself saying he owes half his millions in salary to his dad Joe Biden.

I know he isn’t, but why are China, Russia, Ukraine and other countries paying lesser amounts paying Hunter, a known drug addict, millions of dollars? What do they perceive they are getting? Aren’t you curious?

No they don't. They have an email taken out of context.

also I need to add that the dems attacked viciously when Trump attempted a quid pro quo and Biden successfully not just attempted but successfully used a quid pro quo to benefit his sons business.

He used our tax dollars as leverage for his sons business by stopping Ukraine aid until they fired the investigator that was investigating his sons business. That’s more than a name.

Say whatever makes you feel better. He said he owed half his salary to his dad. How do you take that out of context?

Please, please, please be successful. I want Biden off the Democrat ticket so we can get someone better to be on there against Trump. I think Biden can still beat Trump, even after this impeachment, but I think there are other candidates who could blow Trump out of the water. This is all upside as far as I'm concerned: either the Republicans find something legit and actually get him off the ticket (through conviction or simple public perception), or they collapse and look even more like partisan buffoons. I'm happy no matter which it is.

That will be the Orange Stain's legacy: a new standing committee in the House, the Permanent Impeachment Committee.

He didn't impeach himself. This is a taste of your own medicine.

Good ole Kevin. Eleven days ago, he said this:

“To open an impeachment inquiry is a serious matter, and House Republicans would not take it lightly or use it for political purposes. The American people deserve to be heard on this matter through their elected representatives,” McCarthy told Breitbart News on Sept. 1. “That’s why, if we move forward with an impeachment inquiry, it would occur through a vote on the floor of the People’s House and not through a declaration by one person.”

But he has realized that he doesn't have the votes to overwhelmingly support this decision. So now, he's simply going to green light the inquiry himself. I, personally, have no problem with proceeding, but the optics are bad out of the gate. Add to it that, so far, Reps have admitted to not finding the evidence they sought and you have a clown show from the very beginning.

LOL! Only with Trump, there was actual evidence. With Biden, it's make-believe.

This is tit-for-tat revenge politics. As if anybody cares if Hunter ran a con game on any foreigners. Once this is over, there will be a target rich environment for the next wave of Democrats to select from. And on and on and on..........

Waste of time and resources and diminishes us all.

And yet, they were. Not only has Shokin stated so... so did Devon Archer, Biden's business partner.

"The big guy" did the absolute definition of a quid pro quo...

They weren’t. Shokin was corrupt as Hell. He didn’t lift a finger to investigate Buriama. There is zero evidence of an investigation, and you’re trying to change history.

I agree. Things are ugly and will only get uglier. I don't think Biden can handle the trump-treatment.

There could even be some reasonable explanations for some of that.
Let's say that Hunter needed money for something and didn't have it. Joe may have loaned it to him, expecting to be repaid.
OR, Hunter went to a 60 day rehab facility that cost $300,000 and Joe paid it, with the expectation that Hunter would pay him back when he could.
NOTE: these are scenarios from the top of my head, just possibilities. No proof, just possible explanations.
A thorough investigation should bring some light to these things.
That email alone doesn't prove or disprove anything.

Could you send a link to the Articles of Impeachment? From what you quote it would appear as if they were impeaching Hunter. I don't think there is anything in the Constitution that would allow impeaching the FAMILY of a President.

The Articles of Impeachment should clarify this.
