    Trumps offer was not really a offer

    Trump : "I will stop hurtin the dreamers for 3 years if you give me 5 billions dollars"

    how about Citizenship for the dreamers - now that would be actually giving to get.... how bad does Trump want that 5 Billion?

    Trump says he loves the Dreamers, so why would this be a hard deal for him to make them? seems like a win\win unless Trump is lying again

    Trump gave dreamers a three year moratorium not there months and that would in reality be doing them a huge favor. This gives congress some breathing room to work out a long term plan for these young people and if Trump gets his extra border security Republicans will have incentive to be more accommodating to the dreamer plan. Without the three year cooling off period dreamers face deportations in short order.

    Trump was the one that put the dreamers in danger, Trump promising not to hurt them for 3 years is not a deal maker, give them citizenship so Trump and his ilk can never hurt them again - will Trump agree to that to get his 5 billion for a wall?

    It was Obama who disrupted the status quo with his executive order and run around congress dreamer act that the Supreme Court will likely rule on next year were it to remain intact. When Trump reversed Obama's executive order he merely reinitiated former official and legal policy. His offer now for a three year moratorium is a big concession and if democrats don't take it deportations may be right around the corner.

    it was Trump that endangered the dreamers... Trump can change that by offering DACA children citizenship, will he? let's hope he realizes no money for wall unless he does.....

    Trump will have to decide which he wants more... to hurt the children or to have 5 billion for a wall

    The so called dreamers were created by an Obama executive order. They didn't exist until he created them with with his end run around congress and if congress doesn't create official law for this group of emigrants it's very likely the Supreme court will be the one that initiates their deportation. Trump can reverse his executive order that killed Obama's executive order and let the dreamer act stay in place but it will still end up in the Supreme Court for them to rule on. Trump can't by himself make an illegal act by Obama legal just by endorsing it. His three year moratorium on the other hand forstalls a court ruling and gives congress time to do it's job and legislate a legal dreamer law if they really want one. Democrats now run congress so they are halfway home.
