    You really can't tell what she's doing in that video. Was he reaching for her hand or was he signaling to someone behind and to his left? Did she even notice his hand was out there? Also, did someone tell them not to hold hands in public? Who knows, who cares? And if OUR PRESIDENT is having a fight with his wife then welcome to married life, my empire to the person who hasn't.

    BTW, there are plenty of pics out there of Mooch giving Hussein the evil eye. Plenty.

    I suspect being in his seventies has something to do with it. I don't feel sorry for her though. She walked into that meal ticket willingly. And as the days wane on, I think she is becoming increasingly unhinged at the thought of spending more unwanted time going through the motions of this first lady crap, and hanging out with an old man.

    There is no way on this pale blue dot that Trump is capable of loving another human being, including his wife (whichever one he happens to be on at the time). He takes pride in his family, but that ties in with his narcissism (they reflect on him publicly). He loves himself far too much to genuinely love someone else.

    I used to do some work for a really rich guy. He was a mannerless lout, like trump.

    The man had a lovely, talented wife, who was obviously in the relationship for the "stuff."

    She used to get this hateful look on her face when she would look at him... as if she wished she could step on him, and squash him.

    Not relevant, but I find the hand grasping of the Obamas a little off. I don't want to see elder statesmen clinging to paramours like lovesick teens. It is out of context, and just doesn't quite ring true.

    Why 'poor'? She chose the job. Have you seen some of the creatures all those SE Asian brides have to tolerate? And they have less choices than Melancholia had ... she was born into relative wealth and ease. She didn't NEED the job, but she took it anyway.

    WTF is the alt-left? The copycat term that the White Supremacists have tried to coin as the counter point to the alt-right? Can the radical right ever think up anything original?

    Shall we take a stroll down memory lane to recall how the Obamas were scrutinized 24/7? Yes, the way a guy treats his mother and his wife is a reflection of his overall character and by the looks of these two, Trump is the creep we all know he is.

    In many cultures, men are rarely seen 'treating' their wives/mothers in public. How would you then measure such a man? You'd use your limited understanding of cross-cultural interpersonal dynamics, and be wrong.

    Edited to add: I think 'alt left' refers to the Regressive Left. Not sure why it's being used, since RL works better and truer.
