Once Flynn had pleaded guilty and decided to cooperate with law enforcement in hopes of minimizing his sentence - and Mueller recommended that Trump’s national security adviser serve no jail time for lying to the feds about his contact with Russian officials and work on behalf of Turkish ones - it looked as if he had escaped incarceration for his crimes.

By welching, he may have screwed himself.

If that were true I’m sure the trump DOJ would have charged him. Are you calling Barr incompetent?

That is one revelation in the article regarding Flynn who had confessed to his crimes and had once intended to mitigate his sentence by cooperating with law enforcement, of course.

I'm talking about Kerry's violation of the Logan Act.

    From Wikipedia:

"In April 2018, former Secretary of State John Kerry met with the Iranian Foreign Minister in order to ensure the Iran nuclear deal framework remained more or less intact. The Boston Globe speculated that Kerry's actions could be interpreted as violating the Logan Act; however, Stephen Vladeck, law professor at the University of Texas, did not agree that Kerry would be in violation of the act because he is preserving previous US measures, rather than seeking to destroy US measures [22]. However, Vladeck did not address the act’s language that explicitly forbids any attempt to influence the conduct of a foreign government. Matthew Summers, a spokesman for Kerry, admitted that Kerry “urged Iran to keep its commitments under the Iran nuclear agreement”[23]. Michael O’Hanlon, a senior fellow on foreign policy at the Brookings institute, stated that this unauthorized attempt to influence Iran’s conduct could very well be in violation of the Logan Act, adding that this argument, at the very least, has enough merit to justify engaging in “a good debate”[23]. Additionally, Summers attempted to defend Kerry by pointing to other secretaries of state that did the same thing Kerry did but were not prosecuted. However, this argument invokes several related logical fallacies, including the fallacies of Tu Quoque (and the related Nos Quoque fallacy), Argument of Inertia, Argument of Tradition and Whataboutism [24]."

No indictment, no criminal proceedings, no case, no lawsuit, no trial. The prosecution is the legal party responsible for presenting the case in a criminal trial against an individual accused of breaking the law.

Ha Ha Ha Ha Ha Ha.... So many things wrong in 3 lines....

You obviously have ZERO clue to what Flynn pleaded guilty to.... And you obviously don't know he wasn't the NSA in December of 2016.

Few have ever been guiltier.... they have him recorded telling the Russians how to respond to the Obama sanctions, then telling the FBI he didn't....

Do you truly understand what that means??

No... you clearly do not... One of the smartest things ANYBODY in this administration has ever done was Flynn pleading guilty to lying to the FBI...

This latest escapade just seems to indicate nobody trusts this asshat to walk from Point A to Point B without continued lying..

He was a member of a presidential transition team. No Logan violation so the record remains that there never has been a conviction on anyone in over 200 years.

Which, as we all should know from 5th grade citizenship class, is NOT a member of the current administration in power.... so for the purposes of the Logan Act wording, would mean Flynn acted "without authority of the United States"...

    https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Logan_Act#Text

5th grade was a little tough for you??

But yep, nobody wants to open that can of worms on either side so it's a useless law... If everybody is so convinced John Kerry broke it, why don't the ******* in the Trump DOJ do something about it??? (A- They know he didn't, but he got pretty close)
