that is not the issue anyone disagrees with

the cop is what is being discussed as he went crazy and was behaving badly

sure it was bad of the white girls to say that and bad of the black girls to overreact, that we all agree on

once again some are trying to defend the bad actions of the cops by saying.... but they were bad earlier too

the kids were not on duty representing the public, the cop swearing saying the f-word, yelling people to sit that were sitting... saying get on your face.... yelling like a crazy cop out of control pulling his gun for no reason.. ect....

the cop was out of control and escalating the situation.. that is the problem

the other two cops there were acting appropriately

They brought him back and dropped him on the ground in cuffs. Hopefully he will be charged with multiple felonies and spend a few months in the county jail to teach him what his sperm donor father should have if he was around.

Moral of the story: Leave when the cops tell you to.

He resigned due to threats to his family, that's a lot different from being terminated. He'll be suing a lot of the party goers, especially the "event promoter". Ya think she's been claiming the proceeds from her events as income every year?

Moral of the story: Obey cop commands, and cop doesn't lose cool. Obey cop commands, and you might not get a criminal record. I'm absolutely furious at what I see, as the incredible deterioration of law and order in the United States. The Fergusons, the Chicagos of the world are making things worse off for every law-abiding citizen and served as Anti-American Propaganda.

We've reached a point, where it's honestly Law-abiding citizens or criminals roaming the streets of America. And I choose Law-abiding citizens every time. We will reach a new point, where the criminal element is forced out of the country. Either peacefully or forcefully, the choice is theirs.

Y'know,..I'm pretty sure that cop lost his cool way before anyone refused to obey any of his commands.

Another boot licker who needs to study the Constitution and governmental powers...

The real moral of the story is racist azzh**e cops loose their jobs when they are stupid enough to commit crimes while people are recording them.

I haven't heard of any whites be they adults or kids who have recently tried to take a gun away from a cop, have you ? So I doubt most cops don't look at young stupid white kids being a threat.

The police are specificially civilian authority. At the lowest level, they adhere to the State Governments. So if we're going to talk about policing and its relation to government, talk to your city councilman before taking to your US Rep(though Congress passes national law, which essentially is diktat to the other 50 states and related cities/wards, etc).

I'm not a "boot licker", I'm a person who understands limitations. I can't go against the law, I'll be arrested, in jail with a criminal record. So I try to abide by the law, as best I can. And as far as I know, there's no crime against being a closet shut-in :D.

Where do people get the notion that a cop has constitutional authority to tell someone to go home or to stop talking?

...and what happens to society once they aren't afraid of cops, because once authority has no power to control the idiots, the idiots rule and we know where that ends. Anarchy. Seems Liberals want anarchy?

So, Liberals believe that you can tell cops to ^&$*#(*(@ off and they can't do anything. Liberals believe if you run from a cop, its OK. Liberals believe that a mob of kids can't do any damage. Liberals believe mobs won't ever hurt cops. Liberals appear SHOCKED when cops feel threatened when outnumbered, because cops shouldn't have to worry about being attacked, because it NEVER happens. When teens are crowding and taking aggressive stances, cops should ignore them as harmless according to Liberals. Reading this thread and other comments and listening to certain news organizations, cops shouldn't really have actual power. Cops have "assumed" power with no way to back it up, since the public should be able to CHOOSE when to obey. Don't want to pay that ticket...what the h3ll, just take off and drive home. What business do cops have upholding the law, right? So amusing Liberals think cops are all MEAN and don't deserve respect, yet bow down to their govt masters who CONTROL the cops. Its amazing.

Yanking a girl down by her hair is brutality. Nothing you say can change this fact.

He told her to get on the ground repeatedly, she refused. How many times was he supposed to ask? Would it make you feel better if he pepper sprayed and tazed her to get her to comply? Watch the video again he told her to leave like a dozen times, but she kept running her mouth attempting to incite a riot. She actually incited this guy to get stupid.

They caught him and dragged his stupid ass back to face charges. The officer showed extreme restraint by not shooting him during that stunt.

Girls are just so special they can not have their hair yanked, especially if they are shouting all kinds of obscenities and other assorted nasty things at people.

Actually, the officer was running around shouting obscenities. I guess that swearing at citizens and yanking hair is standard procedure these days.

    Just a fact of life.

Females, girls, women are just so much more valuable than men.

They can give birth you know, so they should be protected all the way, including wrapping them all up with bubble wrap and locking them away so they'll be completely safe from the predators that are men.

Yes I know. HATER! BIGOT! MISOGYNIST!

How many "citizens" did he yank the hair of? Again would you feel better if he tazed and pepper sprayed her as he took her into custody? Or maybe he should have waited a few hours for her to decide to go peacefully while some other people needed his help badly.

Lol!! Are you suggesting that that cop may not in fact have entered the scene with a barrel role, and that that was just "Photoshop-ed" into the video or something?
Lol. And yes I have watched the entire original video, and yes the cop did enter the scene with a barrel role for no apparent reason.

    Lol!

That girl,....she was clearly already in the process of leaving when the cop decided to grab her and throw her to the ground, apparently because he didn't like what she was saying.
As for the guy,...he was clearly accidentally pushed by his friend and lost his balance sliding down an incline towards the cop before immediately backing off. You can see it if you watch the video.
Lol, gun? There was no gun, other than the cop's. Charges against that guy have already been dropped, and rightfully so. Why should he be prosecuted because someone accidentally pushed him?
