I find it staggering so many of us accept that the govt can take away our basic human right to trade our labor for a living. Our labor is our own private property, is it illegal to sell our homes for less than a certain price? A DVD player, a painting.... so why is it acceptable to have the govt price people out of the earning a living? If all your skills are worth in the market place is $5/hour and your willing to accept that exchange why should you be outlawing it? You take away a persons right to earn, learn and build an employment history when those very things are most valued in the market place. Do you also want to control whom someone has a relationship with, surely that's an individuals right to trade with whom they like? I find it interesting such a basic human right can be denied and all we hear from the lefties is increasing the min wage. It should be abolished! Forcing people to be dependents of the state, unable to better themselves...... taking away their basic human right to trade their labor is a civil rights abuse of the highest order. Its a racist law designed to keep low IQ races out of the workforce as low skilled employment disappears offshore. How exactly do you justify taking away people basic human rights?
