No it's not.. if it were then a woman could abort her offspring even if it were gestating in a surrogate's body. But she can't because that would violate the surrogate's bodily autonomy, and thus the woman is still held fully accountable for her actions. She will have to face her legal responsibilities.

I agree with that part, short of rape. Same goes for the man. His only excuse is if a woman lies that her overies have been removed. Her only other excuse is if he lies that his testicles were removed. Otherwise they both knew the risks of getting pregnant, regardless of how small it would be.

That does not negate bodily autonomy and everyone's right to have removed from their bodies that which they do not want in there, or to keep what is. Your bodily autonomy guarantees you the right to keep a cancer tumor inside you if you don't want it removed. It also guarantees you the right to have it removed.

I would assume that, if it is as you say, the current figureheads of their movement would represent the intersex people you suggest make up some portion of the "transgender" groups.

 

It doesn't negate biological processes either.

A one month old fetus is just as dependent on their caretaker's body as a one month old infant.

Your argument is that the human being growing inside the mother is, in effect, a parasite.

How did you go from my asking you to back up your claims, that came before mine, thus you have initial support responsibility, to talking about movement figureheads? What I am saying is that no one is bothering to run genetics on claimed transgenders. I listed a whole lot of possibilities as to why one might have a sex different from their gender. The claim you made is that transgenders are what their genitals and chromosomes are, yet you can't show that all or even most have chromosomes that match the gentials.

 

Well, you suggested that perhaps intersex people actually represent a great portion of "transgenders", or at least asked me how I didn't know that was the case.

I would submit that, were that true, the "famous" face of the "transgender" movement would include a mix of those with dysphoria as well as actual intersex.

I'm no expert, but I'm not aware of any of their figureheads who represent, or even mention, the intersex component you reverted to in your argument.

 

Remember when certain people were hysterical over the thought of all these men pretending to be women so they could get into women’s bathroom to prey on women and young girls? Turned out to be a non-issue as there was no widespread epidemic of men going into women’s rooms to prey on innocent women. Just as this whole issue of being “forced” to say the correct pronoun to a transgender will ultimately be a non-issue. Especially given how small a number these people represent in the US. Most people will go their entire lives never crossing paths with a transgender. Yet here they are in this thread whining about it.

it's not politically driven. it's driven by sin.. People want to do bad things but not be thought of as bad so they try to make people think what they are doing is good.

sex and gender can not be mismatched as they are the same thing.. The disconnect is between gender and what people want.
