would you be as upset about it as you are now that it's a white frat doing this? or is your outrage selective?
I am asking but your dodging is noteworthy Try again So by what you are saying if someone on the bus was just playing a song with the lyrics in it and the people were dancing to it then all would be OK.
And they were within their (their, not there) rights to do so. It's their frat, their rules. But as has been said umpteen times, it was a private party on private property. When the U and that idiot Boren starts having pressers to babble on every time a black uses the N....a word or sings/chants the N....a word, I might listen. 'Til then, not so much. Unfortunately, that's NOT all that's happened. Boren is fueling the flames, big time. He even said he'd pay for tickets to get the chanters out of town, then turns around and says ALL are welcome at the U. How's that for stupidity?
I am asking you not a national chapter, would you demand the national chapter do this and should the university? And do you think I might have a hard time pulling up some YouTube or other clips of black parties playing such rap songs?
If you can show me the black frat that was allowed to exist after making racist comments comparable to this, I will concede a double starndard. But short of that, you're deflecting and excusing a racist chant.
"equal rights" is a bit of a misnomer for Lee. He's never been interested in true equality.... just extra benefits for his protected class. He's a double dipper, too... Black AND gay....
One more time, if the national chapter deeded it necessary, then yes. And here's the thing- songs by any artists are simply that artist's opinion. For instance, I'm a Marilyn Manson fan, but I certainly don't even come close to agreeing with everything he sings about. Now, if some black fraternity members were to go around chanting "kill all the white people", yeah- I'd have a major problem with that. But you're talking about two different things- rap songs vs people themselves chanting. There is a difference. - - - Updated - - - Exactly, songs are hardly the same thing as going out with all your fraternity members and chanting some pretty scary stuff.

a black frat party singing songs about raping women, shooting crackas.... etc? hmmmm, I've never heard a rap song with lyrics like that ever.
If a black frat is dumb enough to video tape themselves talking about "raping women, shooting crackas" then they should absolutely be banned. I'm asking you for such a video. And until then, you are just deflecting.
well, I agree.... that is an important part of the equation these idiots forgot, or didn't know. Don't post your stupid crap on social media. but to pretend this EXACT SAME THING doesn't happen in reverse in black frats is dishonest.
So if the National Chapter of SAE did not ban this chapter then you would be OK with that too? ROFLAMO, most rap songs ARE just chants and there is NO difference between these white club members sing their song and black club members chanting songs. If both contain racist lyrics shouldn't both receive equal punishment and disdain from the public?
example, please. One video ? One recording ? Anything ? I'm not saying it doesn't happen. I'm saying if it isn't provable, there's no point.
I would not have a choice, would I? I may not like it, but I couldn't do anything about it. You clearly cannot grasp what I am talking about. I spelled it out for you quite clearly. I see no reason to explain further as I would just repeat myself. - - - Updated - - - I'm waiting too. Apparently it's very widespread but there is not one YouTube video. Hmm...must be a left wing conspiracy by YouTube.
He is just trying to get everyone to talk about something other than the topic of the thread, it is a form of thread high jacking, the reason for it can only be explained by one reason, and that is that.
Oh, I know exactly what it is. I also noticed that he seems to have no problem with what went on. He probably actually agrees with it.
Here's a SAE promo-hype video using nothing but black rappers as the background music. LOL Gotta loves their inability to be consistent.
I never said these slimy idiots on the bus didn't have the right to say whatever racist ,ignorant, sick thing they want (nor their supporters who gave you likes)....they practiced free speech and suffered the consequences....the university has it's own rules..... why would a sane, non-racist person blame "liberals" ?
If they are a student at a university that forbids offensive rap music YES, they will be in trouble.... Ya know, I don't think the liberal Hating racists in here know what a University is.....must never have been to one Or they'd know it's the SCHOOL's rules that count... Can anyone PROVE the entire university administration is liberals trying to curtail free speech......
I am an Oklahoma native, and I am extremely embarrassed this sort of attention is brought to the state and university I love because of the actions of a few. I am glad that these people were exposed as racist and I encourage any other racists to speak up and let themselves be known, so the rest of society can move on without you.
University can disband a frat or sorority for any number of reasons including conduct unbecoming. This definitely qualifies.
My college marching band was worse at hazing than any frat.... look up Ohio state or Famu band hazing (neither were mine, but they had major issues) - - - Updated - - - well, I'll have to admit my disadvantage of videos.... I'm am limited due to my firewall at work.
