Ultimately, equality is not just in men's best interests. It's in women's best interests too.

    Consider this thought experiment:

Disregard gender for a moment and just consider that there are 2 candidates applying for an executive position with a fortune 500 company.

Let's call them candidate A and candidate B.

Candidate A takes responsibility for the consequences of their actions and choices and candidate B blames the consequence of their actions and choices on everyone but themselves.

Which candidate is likely to get hired and be an asset to the company???

    Clearly it's candidate A.

Ultimately, equality is in women's best interests and women will achieve more if they are equal.

    Do you disagree???

What an absolutely ridiculous statement that we hate men just for being men. What has happened is that when women stand up for themselves the insecure males believe it is an attack on them. How nice of you to wish cancer on people

I can’t imagine any candidate saying what you I think they would say

Yeah, I know, you hate men for a lot of other reasons too.

Like this for example. Disagreeing with you is one of them, as you clearly expressed here.

I read the article that you are obviously referring to about Hillary blaming Clinton’s mother. All the article keeps repeating is she “allegedly” said that , and “purported, “but it must be true because you saw it in the Internet lol
I do have to laugh when you cloak yourself in self righteousness when you say that liberals don’t take responsibility for their actions and you elect a president who pays a porn star while denying anything ever happened.I also chuckle when we say men like Manafort and all the others who lied and have been found guilty ...yeah, they sure took responsibility.i guess lying is responsibility to you
Let me explain the wage gap historically so perhaps you will ipunderstand. Do you think your child’s education is very important? Do you think the people who take care of your love ones in the hospital or important? Do you think it is just a coincidence that these are mostly women ? in the past were paid very little It was because women were discouraged and denied equal opportunities . The top networking universities denied them admission. Women had very few options and that’s why they were able to get paid less. Women didn’t have choices and now women are going into professions that pay well
Your sexism is quite blatant when you say that women are getting degrees that are fun and easy! Yep half the medical and law schools are women now. Real easy. What are men doing that is so difficult? One of the most difficult and responsible positions is teaching and because it was a field for women the pay is low some men don’t opt for it. And if you will notice there are more and more man going into nursing because they say women that would become nurses are becoming doctors and there is a shortage of nurses so guess what they’re getting paid bigger box and mental going into the field. There is a stigma and doing something women do

Oh so you’re one of those men? I wasn’t specifically referring to you but I guess if the shoe fits… And stop with this silly man hating. It seems to be you who needs to out down women

I was not referring to anyone on this forum -- this was my response in kind to the Washington Post article. I do not see how my response is offensive given the original.

This is part of an OP ED piece I wrote on the wage gap, enjoy!!!

Some of the pay gap can be explained by what the genders tend to choose to study at university. For example, men are much more likely to study STEM (science technology engineering and math). For instance, in a paper by Andresse St. Rose titled “STEM Major Choice and the Gender Pay Gap” she found in 2007 women earned 17 percent of Bachelors degrees in engineering, compared to earning 79 percent of Bachelors degrees in education. In 2006 women earned only 20 percent of Bachelor degrees in physics, computer science, and engineering.[2] In a 2007 paper by Dey and Hill titled Behind the Gender Pay Gap they found STEM degrees tend to have higher salaries than their peers with degrees in other disciplines. For example, one year after graduation, an education major working full time earned, on average, about 60 percent as much as an engineering major working full time ($525 versus $851 per week)[3] Despite earning most of the degrees in post-secondary education women are choosing not to major in subjects that result in them being qualified for the lucrative careers that men are more likely to be qualified for when they graduate, and according to Liberals this is men’s fault? If liberals believe in equality then shouldn’t they believe women should be equally accountable for the consequences of their actions and choices as men? Blaming men for the consequences of your actions and choices is not accountability.

I'm a liberal and a feminist and nothing you just said applies to me...so I won't bother to response to flaming nonsense.

And believe this, part of the backlash of hatred towards women is because they are catching up. Both in college degrees and the workforce.

For me personally, I work for a female owned engineering firm...more than half of the executive managers are female. Although the men we have are amazingly brilliant too and I'd never minimize their contribution to our profitability.

If you've ever read anything I've said on the issue of feminism, as I've stated multiple times, I believe women DO share equal responsibility. That's why I believe all women should be educated and financially stable on their own and never rely on a man for financial security. As for the topic of this thread, I also have zero issue with men who hate women staying away from them...I think they should. The reality is, however, that generally the reason they hate women is because they feel rejected by them...and that will get worse the more independent women become.

    Buy a dictionary, will you?

Definition of "liberal" (noun) = someone who is open-minded or not strict in the observance of orthodox, traditional, or established forms or ways

All of your remarks above are NOT definitions but characterizations that you invent to satisfy your intellectual needs to defame liberalism as a political belief.

They have little if nothing to do with definitional meanings of the word "liberal" nor how liberals think or behave.

Get help. You need it badly ...

Stop with the "Conservatives this" and the "Liberals that" nonsense. You people don't know what you are talking about. Now ... if you said *Feminists use white males the same way the Nazis used the Jews, as the scapegoats for everything* then I would agree with you.

And what makes you think the same advice does not apply to YOU ... ?
More one-liner sarcasm in a DEBATE FORUM.

You'd be MUCH happier on a Message-Board spewing your inanities...

Because I'm not spending my weeping on message boards about what an oppressed white male victim I am.

Seems kind of simple. What about it do you find hard to understand?
