The Washington Post first reported that a team hired by Trump found at least two items marked classified in a West Palm Beach, Florida, storage unit used by the former president. Those items were immediately turned over to the FBI, according to the Post. The New York Times later published a similar report about the search and discovery. “People close to Mr. Trump had said earlier on Wednesday that no classified material had been found during the searches, a claim that was later proved incorrect,” the Times reported.

All US presidents since Truman (excluding Kennedy of course) have taken home thousands of top secret documents. Has anybody searched George Bush or Barack Obama's basements for classified documents? No, because they're not on the CIA's hitlist.
He's ************ you. When past ex-Presidents "take" documents, it's for their Presidential libraries and with the blessing of the NARA.
Check with the fact checkers. Besides when they say Trump has top secret documents they want you to believe he has copies of the nuclear launch codes or something. It's pure media sensationalism.

Haven't seen that one seriously floated by anybody significant. Usually, things are secret for a good reason. For example, keeping the identities of our agents secret so they can continue to operate and protect our interests rather than be jailed or rendered ineffective - just as one example.
