    Obama also had numerous African dictators visit the WH, many of whom have far worse human rights records than Russia (one put all gays in prison for life, for example).

    But this is Trump, so...

    The OP might want to read a little history. Heads of state to that, and they DO make official visits to each others countries. Just because Hillary lost why do you take every microscopic event as an opertunity to complain about the President? It gets really tiresome you know.

    I'd say it's clear evidence the President doesn't let petulant children dictate foreign policy.

    Why would the President want to give a moments notice to people who want war with Russia?

    Obama didn't sell America for some cheap headlines. Obama, and Bush, and Clinton, and Reagan cared enough about America and the job of president to spend countless hours learning about Russia, talking with experts on Russia, working through diplomatic channels and allies. Once the stage was set then America went in strong, informed, and in the public eye. Reagan, a man I deeply admired, read (yes read) volumes of history and politics on Russia and the history of United States' involvement with the U.S.S.R. BTW Putin hated Obama and blamed Reagan and America for the biggest disaster of the twentieth century - the destruction of the U.S.S.R.

    Trump, with his glass mountain ego, thought he was too smart to have to go through all that effort the dumb guys before him did. He wasn't in there to represent America, he went in to glorify Trump. It all blew up and left America looking feckless and weak.

    Watching Trump on the world stage is like watching a kid use Dad's iPad to hammer nails into 2 by 4's.

    That's what I'm thinking. Just when they're so paranoid that every bush has a Russian behind it, he invites the Russians over for dinner.

    Will they demand that something be done to keep the Russians from voting in our elections? Will they be able to say anything if he uses their paranoia to republican advantage by mandating ID laws?

    Uh, duh, this was quite public......a two hour private one-on-one(pardon the reference to the Trump/Putin love affair :) ) is different.




    Maybe you could answer this:
    I've been wondering exactly what it would take for a Trumper to de-Trump themselves and actually criticize something he does....murdering someone in front of thousands of witnesses ?, selling Melania to Putin?, dancing naked on the White House lawn while barbecuing babies?? Making Putin his Chief of Staff( well, he already is) What? How far down are they willing to go?

    Remember, to them, it takes a village. In this case, a village of triggered people who depend on a central organization to tell them what to think.

    The more rational just live in a village, and count on their own hard work and intelligence to create success.

    We could probably get a good deal on Melania. Murdering somebody? Ya know, I always thought the Romans were on to something with their whole bread and circuses philosophy of keeping the hoi polloi entertained.

    Not sure that I want to see Trump dancing naked on the white house lawn, but I wouldn't mind seeing Ivanka twerking while barbecuing baby back ribs.
