Lets say for funs and giggles that the 97% scientists are wrong and you are right. Then you click on the link I posted of the pictures of people using contaminated water. Of course its obvious the Chinese have little to no EPA for themselves to speak of, and the Right in this country would just assume do the same, about how long do you give those Chinese in the pictures left to survive? I mean if Global warming doesn't kill us, contaminated water will. Especially when you have no regulations. It's insanity what we are trying to do to ourselves.

You are continuing with your opinion. You are the one that used the term "engulfed", I would like to see your evidence?

There is nothing misleading in any of my questions, you happen to be the one that keeps making the statements I question, so I assume that you are an expert in this field, I would like to see the evidence? You surely have evidence of what will be done and the percentage it will be mitigated in order to bring our climate under control. I would suggest you stop with your silly response of publications I don't read

So now you want to regulate the Chinese? Let me hear how you plan to do that?

    Oh that was so Gruber-esk

I am amazed these comments coming from the liberals that can't produce any evidence of what percentage our effort will make. Imagine that :roflol:

How can legislation stop, alter or otherwise change the cyclic nature of the Eath's climate?

    ...Authored by climatologists.

That's quite the accusation, back it up with facts.

Is there a push for CARBON CREDITS? Yes. That isn't "global taxation". You seem to be totally ignorant as to how carbon credits work. Do you think that people are buying carbon credits from some one world government?

You don't have to be an expert to understand what scientific studies say, you just have to take the time to read up on them. But for most Americans that means that they'll just get their "facts" from talking heads on television.

That can and was just easily provided to you.

Just because you didn't read that article doesn't mean you didn't get your "fact" from it through some other publication.

I have no bloody clue about this. Why do you keep asserting that I must?

You have no bloody clue? What's it all about then? We all can agree the earth's climate changes, so what percentage of repair are humans that will taxed suppose to expect?

Bottom line, it is a political agenda, and you and the rest of the liberals that push this know it. The truth is, puny humans cannot control our climate

If the warmies are serious about warming why a carbon tax instead of a deforestation tax? For them it's all about the Benjamine's. Making money from thin air has been a con mans dream throughout the ages.

When you add that to solar influence and we can all (except the warmies) see that CO2 has risen steadily, yet the temperature hasn't. I believe that back in the late 1990'S and early 2000's had we bought into the man made warming, they'd be using the latest temperature level off as a measure of their success in taxing carbon us and they need more. Selling folks thin air has been the dream of con men throughout the ages.

I'm afraid you're very wrong. We were well enough aware of the potentially catastrophic consequences which loading the atmosphere with CFCs could have had, and evidence was available in abundance that we were the cause of the growing ozone hole, and the hazards of hugely increased levels of UV radiation were worrying enough that something needed to be done.
Consequently just about every nation-including America under Reagan of all people-signed up to the Montreal Protocol. The ban on CFC use is working because we had the will to make it work.

Anyway, who needs science when we have conservatives and god to save us all.

It never will . Developing countries will want the same use as we had to make our country what it is. They won't be able to afford the restrictions we can.

Why do conservatives keep bringing up Al Gore? He isn't a scientist with any formal qualifications in climatology, meteorology or anything remotely relevant to those disciplines.

    - - - Updated - - -

Yeah, you did the same with that epically moronic George Bush. You never learn, do you...

Yes we can and we did: http://ncar.ucar.edu/press/studying-a-world-avoided-the-effects-of-the-montreal-protocol

We recognised a potential catastrophe in the making and did something about it. I prefer to rely on science; you can keep your 'god' for all the good praying does.
