You go back and forth from Global Warming to Climate Change.. Pick one and perhaps you can have some debate.

Your graph says "Gallup" but doesn't match Gallup!
    http://www.gallup.com/poll/168236/americans-show-low-levels-concern-global-warming.aspx

What's up, guy? Care to pull yourself up off the floor and defend yourself?

Plus, it's not as clear as you would like to think, in that there is a significant crossover with the increasing numbers who are concerned about the environment.

If you want to build pipelines, frack, spew from old coal fired power plants, etc., you're going to see opposition from more than just those who care about our warming planet.

Along with the other millions of refugees flooding in. I'm sure you'll love your freedom when you're living in a refugee camp.

Only a tiny percentage agree with you. Nobody is buying the global warming hysteria anymore.

Just those pesky peer reviewed scientific studies that you discount.

    Absolutely.

Taxation is a requirement for government.

In fact, it's a requirement for civilization.

Except the actual climatologists doing the actual science. Who gives a damn if the stupid population of this country "doesn't buy it"? They don't "buy evolution" either, but that's been the foundation of modern biology for over 150 years now.

I want to see your evidence where even the most ardent scientist say we will be engulfed in water? Give me some evidence that whatever is done will mitigate the natural effect of the climate warming?

I have noticed that since the warming is not occurring as previously predicted, science is now calling it "climate change" in order to encompass even the slightest change so that they can claim they were right. But of course that is the agenda of politics, which has really little to do with climate and the human ability to change it

Let me repeat an earlier challenge:

If anyone can show me a scientific survey that shows 97% of Climatologists agree AGW is real, I will leave PF forever.

Hey Grasping.... still wondering about that proper temperature of the Earth...............what was it and how was it determined? And if man weren't causing it to warm what temperature would we be and why would it be better?

I said taxation is a requirement for government - in fact, for civilization..

That started when humans came up with civilization.

I have no idea what you're trying to imply with the word "global".

Who in the world is saying that this is the only way to fix global warming except those shoving strawman arguments into someone's mouth?

    (AKA those like you)

I have no idea what this means. The most ardent scientist? I'm talking about the EPA and IPCC studies talking about the effects of the planet warming.

I can't considering you purposely posted a leading question. It isn't the natural effect.

Who said global warming has stopped beyond the Daily Mail and those, like you, who parrot that article?

No, I'm going to ignore your strawman argument, now actually two of them, is what I'm going to do. You misrepresented what I said and then I called you out for it. Now you're claiming that I am saying that the idea of carbon credits does not exist.

Is there any possibility of, I don't know, you not lying about what I'm saying?

How is there not a government solution?

You could invest more money into climate benefitial technology like green energy, carbon sinks, and more efficient transportation and shipping methods.

You could tax big carbon emitters to encourage them to look for alternatives.

You could enforce emissions standards to bring up gas mileage on cars.

You could raise the fuel tax to discourage excessive fuel use.

That's just a few off the top of my head.
