This would be hilarious if it wasn't so damn frightening since he's our president. What is wrong this clown? Does he think he's on a reality television show and not hosting a presidential conference? Between his glaring misstatements, ridiculous accusations, and irrational media conspiracy theories, he truly set the bar low for presidential press conferences.

The entire Flynn debacle might be the centerpiece given that he did nothing wrong (supposedly) but was fired. Congress needs to put aside party and put their country first and impeach this fool.

But lying in general is acting like the media....that was the point.

The media is showing how ridiculously hypocritical they are. Obama gets caught telling a certain someone that he'll be more flexible to cut a deal after the election and the media excuses it. (*)(*)(*)(*)ing hypocrites....there is absolutely no defense for what the media has become.

 

Oh and like when the Democrat media reported Obama was spending $200,000 per day on his trip to India?

Ding ding ding. Winner. Its like 2 completely separate events. I could make all the womens marches look like a complete riot if I wanted to only show what I chose to show. Sort of like how Trumps rally's were covered by the MSM vs more responsible outlets.

 

ecco, thank you for the transcript, I'm holding on to that. I must warn people, even though this transcript is extremely accurate and detailed, you still lose part of the message as compared to watching the video. On the other hand, the transcript is better than the video because the reporter questions are more clear due to poor sound quality of the reporter's microphones.

Ok, so what's missing in the transcript is the genuine reaction of Trump reaching out to this black reporter, asking her if she could set up the meeting with the Congressional Black Caucus that she was so concerned about. Her response was something like; "No, I'm a reporter"

I heard that reporter's refusal and though to myself; WTF? Here's the President of the United States asking a black reporter to help and be part of a solution that she is so passionate about and she refuses???? She should be ashamed of herself. Even if this reporter was white, I'd expect her to go the extra mile to help setup the meeting if she really cared about the black people in the inner cities.

It just goes to show that some of these reporters are so intent on making Trump look bad, they would rather see harm come to others, than to cooperate with Trump and to actually try to make things better. It's just disgraceful. That's what Trump is dealing with and unfortunately that particular message is lost in the transcript.

So I encourage everyone to grab a copy of this transcript because it's very handy if you ever want to search on something he said, but also make sure you watch the full press conference. And forget the media and their manipulative editing presentation which will only cause you to believe what they want you to believe.

I watched the whole press conference. Twice. I have to say, I agree with you.

It's a bit sad. Amusing, yes, but sad none the less.

Yes. As I say, I watched it twice, and was very happy with the way President Trump handled things.

Yes. But explaining the double standard does no good. It's as if they're incapable of seeing it.

 

I saw most of it love. I don't need to review how it was reported. From what I saw of the reporting, though, the portrayed the Trump meltdown accurately.

When Trump gets to the point where a reporter fact checks him on live TV, you know his media intimidation campaign is failing.

 

Why would a President ask a reporter, any reporter, to set up a meeting with any member of Congress?

Especially since they had already sent a letter asking for one.

The "respectable outlets" covered the women's march as a riot, focusing on minor acts of vandalism from a small group of hooded self proclaimed anarchists, and featured trash on the sidewalk, running the same images and clips of video over and over again, as they so often do.

The "dishonest media" covered the event.

 

I had tried to give Mr. Trump the benefit of the doubt and believed it possible his fabricated realities were a result of ignorance vs. deceit. His "news" conference removed this possibility from my mind based on what he stated and the angry defensive posturing indicating defensive attack being the reaction to purposefully lying and being confronted with it. We have elected a petulant child into office and can only hope it does not find the gun in the dresser drawer.

Actually, they show the marches, but didn't IGNORE what you mentioned. If you watched NBC or CNN, you literally would not have known any violence occurred. Wouldn't have seen the aftermath mess. They laughed off Madonna casually, like "Oh, its just heeeeer." Snare drum, clap. As if Women wearing pu$$y hats is something to be commended, when they invite a speaker who RAPED & MURDERED a gay man. But she's a "strooooooooong" woman and is reformed now=). Did you even know? Probably not.

What were they protesting again...not getting tax paid abortions? Oh, thats right!!!! Trump is going to sign new laws that prevent women from working, right? He's going to force them back into the kitchens, right? Take away gay people's rights? Start putting black people in the back of the bus again? Hillary would be POTUS now, if all we had was the MSM. Wouldn't even know CNN was in HRC's back pocket, handing her questions before debates. The DNC actively working against Sanders.
