I'd been racking my brain trying to figure out who Ted Cruz reminded me of. He not only looked like someone familiar, he talked liked someone familiar. Then it hit me, Mr. Haney from "Green Acres". Thinking I might have hit on something original, I checked the net to see if anybody else had the same idea. Turns out a lot of people see the resemblance. WaPo even has an article with someone being reminded of Mr. Haney by Ted Cruz. The two even have 'scoundrel' in common. So from this point on, Ted Cruz is Mr. Haney to me.
From the first time I seen, heard and notice Ted Cruz Mr. Haney popped into my head. I like you, just googled Mr. Haney and Ted Cruz, and was surprised to find out so many made the same connection. The Right wing media (or SNL) should do a comparison of the two.

You just dont like Cruz because he questions Obama's spying on Americans platform, and his use of the IRS to attack his political enemies, and his blatant lying to the American people to win elections, and his use of pressure to silence the health insurance industry, and his use of wire tapping to pressure journalists, and the new war he wanted in Syria, and his plans to spend a few hundred billion more money we dont have to stimulate his cronies and see the labor force employment rank sink etc...
