Fusion GPS Admits DOJ Official’s Wife Hired to Investigate Trump

Fusion GPS co-founder Glenn Simpson admitted in a court document that his firm hired Nellie Ohr, the wife of demoted DOJ official Bruce Ohr to investigate then-candidate Donald Trump.

The confirmation from Glenn Simpson came in a signed declaration filed in U.S. District Court in Washington, D.C., and provided a fuller picture of the nature of Nellie Ohr’s work – after Fox News first reported on her connection to Fusion GPS.

Simpson’s statement shows Mrs. Ohr was indeed involved in the Trump research. He said bank records reflect Fusion GPS contracted with her “to help our company with its research and analysis of Mr. Trump.”

Further, Simpson said he disclosed to the House intelligence committee that he met personally with Bruce Ohr, “at his request, after the November 2016 election to discuss our findings regarding Russia and the election.”

The corruption is being unmasked…

Fox News‘ James Rosen and Jake Gibson recently reported the wife of Justice Department official Bruce G. Ohr worked for the opposition research firm during the 2016 presidential election.

The Gateway Pundit’s Kristinn Taylor reported late Monday night, Nellie Ohr, the wife of demoted Department of Justice official Bruce Ohr, who worked at Fusion GPS last year when the firm was working for the Clinton presidential campaign compiling the controversial anti-Trump Russian dossier, is listed as working for the CIA’s Open Source Works department in a 2010 DOJ report.

Nellie Ohr is also an expert on Russia. You just can’t make this stuff up.

As previously reported, an attorney for Trump, Jay Sekulow went scorched earth Tuesday and called for a separate Special Counsel to investigate the corrupt ties between the DOJ, FBI and Fusion GPS.

“The Department of Justice and FBI cannot ignore the multiple problems that have been created by these obvious conflicts of interests. These new revelations require the appointment of a Special Counsel to investigate,” Sekulow told Axios.

Also, according to Fox News reporter Jake Gibson, Attorney General Jeff Sessions has called on a senior Justice Department attorney to look into appointing a special counsel to investigate recently demoted official Bruce Ohr’s contacts with Fusion GPS.

On Wednesday, Trey Gowdy (SC) went off on Deputy AG Rosenstein in an epic 6 minute tirade about the conflicts of interest and corruption in the DOJ and FBI. Gowdy specifically brought up the circle of corruption with Bruce and Nellie Ohr and Fusion GPS.

Special Counsels are formed specifically to avoid conflicts of interest yet Mueller’s entire team is full of liberal hacks with conflicts of interest. Truly disgusting.
