Yep, the climate has always changed.

But the current hysteria about climate is due to POLITICAL science and not Natural Science.

The earth naturally releases more Methane in 24 hours than the entire cow herd on the planet releases in 16 months.

So many of us have said that something like the tilt of the axis can be a contributor to global warming.

First of all, NASA made no such admission and the website is misrepresenting their position and we have known about Milankovich cycles since the 1920's. Unfortunately for the denierati, the three cycles of obliquity, precession and eccentricity have all been in an overall cooling trend for thousands of years and will continue to be for thousands more years. In fact, Milankovich cycles may one day reverse the greenhouse effect we are going through now but this will happen about 40,000 years from now so it won't do us much good.

So, it is not Milankovich cycles. It is not solar irradiance which has been closing in on a Maunder Min for sunspot activity for at least the last decade or two so it is not the sun.

It is not cosmic radiation and it it is not alien heat fields......probably.

So, any other guesses what it is?

I’ve heard it several times but cannot track down a source.

I know the UN said that we have “12 years left to significantly reduce global carbon emissions if we are to have more than a 50 percent chance of keeping global warming below 1.5°C (about 2.7°F)”.

If we fail it will not be fatal (for most), just uncomfortable.

 

But it will be very expensive. Whether we do something or nothing, it will cost us all in the end.
