So you have no passport and live on a ship??

The progress and stability in Arabia is directly attributed to the Al Saud... and the fact that you don't already know that goes directly to your education re: other Arab countries.

I've binned my passport and renounced nationality. Where I live is not your concern.

You can't deny that equal, or better, progress could have been made under a democracy.

I agree with most of what you said , however this is NOT a US attack, it is AN ILLEGAL AND IMMORAL , NATO attack,

... and the shrillest voice, was that of David Cameron of the UK !

Well, Khadafi certainly had the means to kill all the civilians who wanted him to leave after 42 years.

You're right. Obama has kept the US off the front pages but the sheer shrillness of Cameron- as you note- indicates that Big Barack is working him.

    All or nothing.

If the reason for bombing cities where millions of innocent people live is to protect them, then please allow us to bomb half the Middle East and Africa while we're at it.

Libya was nothing like Egypt. In Egypt overwhelming numbers of protesters in most of the major cities rose up in protest, Muslims, Christians, Secular and all sexualities and ages.

In Libya the rebellion started in the East, clearly if there was such a big problem with the way Gaddafi was running his country then the majority of Tripoli would have rose up and took to the streets. This did not happen.

And yes civil war is difficult, but tell me, how the North Atlantic Treaty Organisation fits into a Libyan civil war?...........

So... the hundreds of U.S cruise missile salvo's that kick started serious NATO intervention in the Libya, didn't happen?

Also, I agree that they have taken illegal actions, which have left the line in which the UN resolution drew, long behind in the dust, just like Iraq all over again. I hope the Tories, Labour and Liberal Democrats never get re-elected but I think that's a hope too far.

There were no Libyans in Khadafi's army just African Mercenaries.

So where did your expertise on Libya come from?

I haven't spoken about anything that isn't in the news or has not been reported, nor have I debated the nationality of Gaddafi's army, how is it relevant to my governments actions? Tell me again how Qatar dealt with it's protests?... Did someone say Saudi Army??

Libya is an African nation, with an African army.

That's a function of incredible cash flow.

they are a "family trust" nation. Their wealth has nothing to do with their expertise, innovation, manufacturing etc. It comes solely from the sea of oil they happen live above. Indeed, in a country of 25 million, they have 5 million guest workers, because they don't have the technical skills nor saudis willing to labour.

In the mean time, they run a brutal and completely intolerant Islamic monarchy, where women can't drive nor be in the company of "strange" men. Where being caught with a bible can get you killed. they even resort to chopping off heads for adultery and hands for theft.

The fact that they have "modernized" their desert culture in the past 70 years is great, and very Islamic. Of course what else could they do with all that cash? How many palaces, gold bathtubs, and hundred car garages can you buy?

Indeed, also citizens under Gaddafi may not have always had proper treatment or justice, but they had many more significant freedoms than the people of Saudi Arabia.

Also It's funny how it's called an Arab spring when only African nations overthrew their dictators.

Does that mean you don't have to pay taxes?
If your renounce your nationality does that mean you need a work permit to work?
If you renounce your nationality does that mean you're not getting a social security?

I spent 20 years in Arabia... How about YOU??

The Saudis have over 30 desalination plants, universities, hospitals, ports ...they are diversifying their economy.. Every member of my family had a bible in Saudi Arabia and attended Sunday school and Church.

Three times losers for grand larceny get their hands chopped off.

You must be a soundbite sort of expert on Arabia.

Except they could be disappeared, that if you weren't of the right tribe you got stiffed and generally he behaved above the law. He was a brutal dictator and not just a little nutty.

I'm guessing its because those countries are predominantly arab.

Have you been to Saudi Arabia or Libya?

Meanwhile, the rebels are trying to get the water and electricity back on in Tripoli.
