No! You be honest about it. Have you seen how police treat gunners who have actually killed people... who have a gun in their hands. They subdue them with no incident. The kid who killed two people in Kenosha. But they just happened to be white. They even took the mass murderer in Aurora out for a burger. No shots fired. Nobody was strangled to death. This is a known killer. Compare that to how they treat black guys like Floyd or... this guy. Who they have not indication whatsoever that they have committed or would commit a crime.

Why would they think that Floyd, or this guy... was a threat to them... But not shooters who have already killed multiple people? Because the former are black... and the latter are white!

Get over it! What has to change is this racist mentality among cops. And it's usually not even the cops' fault. It's institutional racism. They have been "wired" to think this way. The racist mentality that you defend. Because the people who know they will be on the receiving end are not the ones who need to change.

And I don't know if cops can change. "Defund the police" makes more and more sense every day. But at a minimum, many police precincts need to be dismantled an rebuilt from the ground up.

Did your link contain a few other facts? For instance, according to a San Francisco study, blacks resisted arrest eight times as often as whites. Did they mention that about the same number of blacks are killed by other blacks as whites are killed by whites. The blacks do this with about one seventh the population?

Blacks are eight times more likely to resist arrest according to the San Francisco study. Other studies from other cities have similar results. I have said repeatedly that resisting arrest tends to lead to confrontation with law enforcement and more shootings. That explains why blacks tend to get shot more by law enforcement than whites.

Where the hell did you get this idea that if you resist arrest you will "absolutely" get killed? The fact is that you have an immensely bigger chance of getting killed if you are black. But that's it. I don't even think (though I don't know for sure) that even if you are black you so "absolutely" get killed as you so excitedly express.

And "rightly so"? My God! And you talk about "dreams". You live in a fantasy and you're not even asleep

Well... that's not surprising, given that they are like eight times more likely to BE arrested.

 

Of course, if they were serious about supporting the protests, they would boycott the remainder of the play-offs. One option would be to team up with the rioters and looters and arsonists instead of playing ball. Imagine the support they could drum up among their fans if they were to show up in person and toss a firebomb or two.
