New Book- "If I had a Son: Race, Guns, and the Railroading of George Zimmerman"

This book should be hard to put down. I would not be surprised if a movie is based on it. I think the average person will be shocked at what was done to George Zimmerman by a cabal of progressives in gov't, media, the racial grievance industry, and a cowardly Republican governor. I'm looking forward to reading or listening to it.

 

The state had no case against Zimmerman but even so I fully expected him to be convicted.

 

Zimmerman? Wasn't he the guy who decided to go after an unarmed teenager, ended up shooting that teenager to death, and was subsequently acquitted due to insufficient evidence? And the dead teenager was NOT railroaded? I wonder what this author would call it? Maybe "justifiable homicide on the grounds that the teenager was a punk and deserved it"?

 

Yep, and Trayvon was only a kid...

 

NO movie will be made about George Zimmerman that doesn't paint him as a slavering white-hispanic racist that hates lean and hoodies.

No. Zimmerman was the man who was attacked by a juvenile thug with a police record for burglary and possession of stolen goods.

 

Wow .... well, good for Cashill! You know,, I'm so tired of the Z/M case, but if this book brings out the truth about a person who's still being crucified after being acquitted...... glad it's happening for him.

Obama's public statement 'if I had a son, he'd look like Trayvon' - but he didn't have one solitary word of compassion to say about a 1 yr old white baby boy shot in the face by a black thug.... speaks volumes.

 

Looks like a good read. Expect the Amazon reviews to be flooded with progressive 1 star ratings.

You're right about the movie. Hollywood is very liberal..... to get to the truth about Z and be fair about it wouldn't happen.......

I guess the jury were such good actors, even their faking the "not guilty" verdict (despite their feelings that the SYG law was a travesty of justice) and it looking like Zimmerman walked free!

The only movie they would make would be called "Trayvon". It'll show his life from birth to age 17 (excluding the drug use, burglary, fighting, gold grills, etc) and how an evil racist white person (the person won't be a "white Hispanic" in the movie) murdered him.

 

He had a spirited defense. I give Mark O'Mara and Don West a lot of credit. They aren't perfect and O'Mara is too sensitive to push on the racial lynch mob mentality, but all in all they defended their
client zealously.

The jury believed the ample evidence that TM was the violent aggressor.

No, he was stopped from further violent aggression.

Oh, I don't know about that. I'm thinking a documentary with lots of TM's texts and cell phone photos. I think there will be a battle of FOIA requests over the photos on TM's phone.

Yeah, his life with a plot hole from 12 years old to the night of the shooting.

 

This guy is a reliable producer of right wing screeds. Look for Mark Levin and NoiseMax to be hawking free copies in return for subscriptions and donations, if they haven't already.

The noise machine will raise a lot of money off of this, and pocket most of it.

You cannot rewrite history by ignoring the parts of it that you don't like.

 

Zimmerman had a legal right to follow Martin home.

The worst you can say about that is that is was an annoyance to Martin.

That's doesn't make it OK for Martin ti assault Zimmerman.

And based on how things turned out certainly not advisable.
