    At least this time it appears that what happened was an issue between the shooter and one of the teachers and the children weren't targeted. Not that it makes a difference for the two kids that got injured, but at this point with all the shootings that happen you have to grasp at whatever good you can find.

    I swore that if I hear some gaboomka try to turn the death of a child into an anti gun or a pro gun rant or call this a false flag I will jump through your screen. Anyone either side who uses the death of a child for partisan political purposes is a piece of--------------€

    As noted, and ignored by our resident Aussie -- this happened in CA, with the most restrictive gun control laws in the US - more restrictive than those in Oz.
    With a straight face, they tell us more laws would have stopped this shooting.

    Detroit Michigan has saw the largest decrease in murder in 30 years when it loosened gun laws within the city. Chicago which has gun laws on par with California has 2.5 times the murders as the rest of the state of Illinois

    Such is a physical impossibility. No other nation in the world, be it first world, second world, or third world in nature, has ever had to deal with there being made firearms available than there are individuals to own them. There are nearly twice as many firearms in the united state as there are citizens. Other nations have demonstrated a long history of restricting access to firearms for centuries, thus keeping their numbers low, while the united states has not. It is far too late for the course of action you suggest, to be anything more than laughable at this point in time. For all the practical good done by the suggestion presented by yourself, you may as well be suggesting developing time travel technology for the purpose of preventing the development of firearms from ever coming about.
