Uh oh, it wasn't an assault rifle, now what? 1 student shot at high school in Taft, Calif. http://news.yahoo.com/1-student-shot-high-school-taft-calif-182626650.html
Yeah just saw this ... [winggunnut on] ... just think if the student who was shot was armed with an AR-15 ... [/winggunnut off]
Another fly in their ointment.... they'll continue the "assault" rifle hysteria, however..... undaunted, unembarrassed, and unashamed at their abject stupidity.
Hm I wonder if broadcasting these crazies all over the media 'triggers' other crazies into acting out on their delusions. So many of them seem to be happening in short sequence.
Was there an armed guard at this school? The yes or no answer will determine how much media play this story will get.
The target of his rage would have many holes in him, oh wait he was shot with a shotgun that projects numerous projectiles. Never mind.
ABC news just reported what they reported as a 'mass shooting' and 'another school shooting.' They provided no real details about the incident but were very careful to send out the liberal talking points. This is how political issues are decided now. Through media propaganda.
Now, those of us who aren't complete *******s will give thanks that it wasn't another 20 or 30 because of an assault rifle.
Seems they learned that from their materialistic, self-centered parents who value their possessions more than their families.
the last mass shooting that involved 30 people getting killed was done by 2 hand guns. so yeah, there goes your stupid argument right down the (*)(*)(*)(*)ter. - - - Updated - - - thats a very common thing in liberal la la lands such as California.
A shooter with a semi-auto shotgun and a couple pockets filled with shells could have easily taken out that many people, and this is no "assault" weapon. Now at this point I guess we don't have all the specifics, or if this shooter was even targeting more than one particular student. - - - Updated - - - That darn pesky Constitution.
Media questioning Sheriff. Several reporters trying to get Sheriff to say the perp had a 'hit-list' or whether or not the perp had planned a mass shooting. Reporter trying get Sheriff to say more could have been shot...Reporters asking how many rounds perp had. Asking now how many 'targets' perp may have targeted. Pretty obvious, reporters wanting to turn this into a mass shooting instead of what it was. Tragic but, doesn't fit media template.
A shotgun doesn't even have to be registered. I got one and there was no background check, no anything. Now what? Will they go after shotguns too? No, they will continue going after so-called "assault weapons" even though its possible to kill lots of people with a knife, as that man in China did.
The Newton CT. shooter used an AR-15 too. http://www.cnn.com/2012/12/18/us/connecticut-lanza-guns/index.html
lol yeah but Cho sure as hell didnt. I guess we are quick to forget the Virginia Tech massacre because it doesnt fall under the agenda that only rifles can cause destructive damage. Cho killed 32 people and wounded 17 others, all with2 hand guns.
So RWers rationalize mass shootings by the type of weapon. Rifles are far more lethal than a handgun, period.
You do realize that the so-called "assault" weapon is a SEMI-automatic, right? So would you then call for a ban on all semi-automatics?
