im not rationalizing anything, simply stating that hand guns can murder the same amount of people or more. a gun is a gun and the smallest of guns can still kill just as easily. liberals try to rationalize banning certain rifles because they look scary, when in fact any semi auto rifle can do the same thing as an ar-15 semi auto, but you only want ar-15's banned and forget about the rest. once again your point is moot, the sandy hook and colorado shootings make no difference of what was shot because just like the Virginia Tech shootings they were all done on close quarter and not like the DC sniper. had James Holmes or Adam Lanza not been able to get their hands on rifles they would have just used hand guns and done the same exact thing. and given the circumstances i bet that Lanza and Holmes would have killed more people using only handguns at close range simply because they are much faster at drawing and aiming at close range. the only real difference between a rifle and a hand gun is the rifle is gonna make things more messy. all guns can kill, and when your targets dont have a gun it doesnt matter what the hell you are shooting. once again Cho killed 32 people using only 2 hand guns, which in reality is still more people than Holmes and Lanza killed in their murder spree's. dont play stupid, facts are facts.
Yeah, it wasn't an assault rifle. And only one kid was shot. That's kinda the point, isn't it? If the shooter had an assault rife there could easily been fifteen+ kids dead.
