Of course it is, but I think what is being attempted here is a continuation of "victim hood". 1st she was born with the wrong skin color....victim. 2nd she is a female that has an attraction to other females.....victim, now she is just young, innocent and dumb......victim. It goes back to the days of Adam and Eve when they both played the "victim" but we should NEVER learn from the past!

 

Griner is 32 years old. She is not some youth but a full fledged adult who should know better about getting arrested for doing stupid stuff.

 

We can't talk about her because she's not a public figure, even though she is. Can't criticize her choices since she's not an adult, even though she is. Can't weigh in on her public stances because we've never met her; while dairyair slams all those at PF he disagrees with, despite never having met them. The hypocrisy and cognitive dissonance are kind of amusing, in a pratfall/spit take kind of way.

Brittney Griner, the WNBA star who was held for months in Russian prisons on drug charges, was released Thursday in a one-for-one prisoner swap for international arms dealer Viktor Bout, according to a U.S. official. The one-for-one exchange agreement negotiated with Moscow in recent weeks was given final approval by President Biden within just the last week, according to sources familiar with the deal. The swap, first reported by CBS News, took place on Thursday in the United Arab Emirates.

Five former U.S. officials told CBS News the agreement had been reached as of last Thursday.

A White House official said President Biden was in the Oval Office Thursday morning on the phone, speaking with Griner and her wife, and that Vice President Kamala Harris was also in the room. Per standard procedure for freed U.S. prisoners, Griner was expected to quickly undergo a medical evaluation.


Biden is expected to make a statement shortly.

So, the former Marine who did nothing wrong stays imprisoned in Russia just so Biden can look good bringing back a convicted criminal who has hollywood fans. . . .

Gee, ya think? We traded a black market arms dealer for a cliched America-hating lefty who was stupid enough to bring illicit drugs into a hostile foreign country. Her fellow America-hating lefties are cheering, while continuing to not give a sh!t about the wrongfully imprisoned Paul Whelan. On the bright side, it's the 1st time a WNBA trade has ever made the news.

 

I don't doubt that Bout was an arms dealer, just like I don't doubt the US military industrial complex is comprised of many arms dealers.

I do not trust the claims of most federal agents, especially those in the FBI and the DEA. I know nothing of the details of the sting in which Bout was trapped in Thailand, but I do know DEA and FBI agents are mostly frequent liars. Tucker had some DEA agent speaking about it. Almost sounds like religion to me.

 

Sounds like using marijuana isn't a victimless crime.

I wonder how many tens of thousands will be murdered because Griner put drugs in her suitcase.

 

The next time Russia arrests an American they'll probably trade Alaska to Russia or something.
