Being nice can be personally rewarding but the type of "nice guy" that complains he doesn't get hot girls is merely acting nice because he thinks that will compensate for a lack of physical attraction. I think it's more complicated than that. Don't assume that because they aren't picking you they don't have judgement. It's just their criteria and rationales don't seem logical to guys but they do to girls.
