    Nobody cares what happens in Nigeria. If 120 Christians were killed in three weeks in France, it would be all over the news. You wouldn't hear the end of it.

    Jews are on the Democratic Party totem pole, barely. They don't command as much respect by the left than gays, illegals, Muslims, etc.

    And Republicans don't have an totem pole of aggrieved "victims".

    Why does no one care what happens in Nigeria?
    It is a mostly English speaking country.

    Is it because it's in Africa?

    Well that didn't stop us from constantly hearing about South Africa in the 80s.

    Or is it because it's a Third World country and not White ?

    Seems like a country has to be both of those to get lots of news coverage, and at least one of them to get much of any coverage at all.

    (Unless the U.S. is officially invading it)

    Speaking of Nigeria, I wonder why America doesn't pay much attention to Liberia anymore. After all, America did found that country.

    (Maybe the fact former slaves given a Western upbringing reverted back to Female Genital Mutilation 160 years later wasn't convenient)

    I agree with the majority on this board, muslims are not peaceful people, otherwise why did they kill 3,000 americans on 9/11? because we didn't want to adhere to their beliefs. Why can't the muslim countries just leave the western countries alone?
