No charges to be filed in charlotte police shooting

The way we need to think is that the police have the right to shoot anyone with a gun? That and open carry laws should make for great entertainment.

The cops can not prove that he pointed a gun at them to even was holding on to the gun, despite all the video footage. Hence it is custom to assume the guy is innocent.

 

Of course he was holding something are you saying his wife was lying when she thought a gun was a book?

Are you saying every cop on that scene was mistaking empty hands as holding a gun since multiple cops told him to "drop the gun".

Justified shooting... If a cop tells you to drop a gun.. Do it.

Yelling drop the gun does not mean the perp was aiming it at the police. Cops yell drop the gun whenever they assume someone is holding something that may or may not be a firearm. They are trained to do so.

You didn't answer the question. I've seen the videos. At what point was he pointing the gun at them? Also, on what basis do you assume that the word of these officers is more valid then the video evidence?

No it's not as the DA established in his news conference, suggest you listen to it where he lays out the applicable law and the evidence that supported that.
