Nothing ever dies in the Universe...

It seems that God wants us to think that we already dominate and rule over all creation and that Satan's revelation that we are just an insignificant creature on a tiny dot is sufficient motivation for us to truly better ourselves so that we can dominate and rule over all creation in reality.

 

Man is not at this point in time ruling over all creation because the Earth is not all of what God has created......there is a whole universe out there that is outside of man's present dominion. But only those who are God's children by the Holy Spirit will have the right to inherit it all, because only a son of God will be doing what God command him or her to do. Those who are on the Earth who are not in line with God's plan for man will eventually be destroyed since there will be no place for them to live, because God is going to change the surface of the Earth and remove all the things that sustain mortal human existence.

The 'silver' is the continuous 'white light,' and the "red' is the 4x's 'blink' (not necessarily at the points shown during the trek across the sky)..all within about 8 secs:

 

At the expense of the life of Job's wife and children.

So does this remain an unexplained phenomenon, or have you ascribed and explanation to it. Have you decided it was God, or ET's?

 

For the sake of a wager and to prove His power, a whole book of torture is recorded. Is that what you believe actually happened?

If someone killled your wife and kids, but gave you new ones, would you call it even?

 

Didnt see 'it' as God, but an unexplained product of some intelligence---at that time (about 30 yrs ago) and even now, I know of nothing 'man-made' that could do this type of radical display in mere secs'

Just an example of the ultra-normal, unexplained as per our present knowledge, phenomena...and so I DONT discount the possibility of occurrences in the super-natural (spiritual realm) as well..

The thing is God is not just someone He is God so He has the power to bring the dead back from the grave.

 

Without discrediting any apparent interpretation of this, I would suggest that the orbit and rotation of the earth being at odds with the trajectory and rotational velocity of an oddly shaped rock, which is experiencing intense friction from the atmosphere and breaking apart as it heats could be responsible for the seemingly bizarre motion and lights you saw in the sky. This would be a fun physics problem to see if such an object could produce that exact apparent trajectory from the viewpoint of earth's surface... unfortunately I currently lack the necessary competence in geometry to perform such a problem. Where's an expert when you need one?

I've seen several meteors in my life, one covered about 2/3's the sky before breaking up..they all sputtered and looked like fireworks..but believe what you will, what I saw as one trained in radar and having worked in aerospace, this wasnt anything 'explainable!'

I don't believe anything about your experience. I have no clue what you saw. I simply said it would be an interesting physics problem to see if that trajectory could be recreated using mindless objects experiencing the laws of physics.

It's funny that you think you have seen every type of possible meteor though.

In spite of his documented willingness to lie in his own thread, I see no reason to believe that he is lying about his description of what he saw. I haven't seen the point of his bringing it up yet, since he just finds it an unexplained phenomenon and not indicative of anything, but I see no reason to doubt he saw it.

 

If you think that the purpose of communication is to elicit the response you desire from the person to whom you are communicating, then breathing is a waste of time for you.

 

I don't doubt that he saw it. I simply stated that I have no beliefs associated with his experience. Why would I invent beliefs about something I don't know about?

 

Minor correction: Satan, like God, can assume any form you want, and of course any form that other believers and scribes want(ed).

Think about it. When "the serpent" was punished in the Garden of Eden, it had its legs taken away. This was an origin story for serpents, and NOTHING to do with any Satan. Why, after all, would Yahweh punish all serpents for something one "fallen angel" did? FFS, use your noggin..

Well I can certainly see how the first sentence of that post is ambiguous. He told me to believe what I want. I was responding that I don't have beliefs about what he saw, nor do I want any. I would attempt to get to the bottom of it... but I'm sure I would lose interest halfway through the complex geometry problem which arises from his description.

 

Oh, I'd say "Satan" won where Job is concerned.

Going just by the above, God and Satan made a bet and God allowed Satan to kill numerous people right from the get-go! Job's servants died various horrible deaths according to fable simply so that Job's faith could be tested. Oh, but it doesn't end there..

I like Job 16:7 - the guy is concerned about what God has done to him, not to his servants or his family. Job the "righteous man" doesn't seem to have a care for those God has KILLED; he cares only about how he himself is affected.

And you may have noticed the references I included, namely that "the angels" in Job is a non-literal translation from the Hebrew for "the sons of God." Yahweh had kids in this book. I also included the meaning of Satan, which of course was "adversary." Judaism never viewed Satan quite the way the Christians and their writings do. I'm reasonably certain they never tried to claim that the talking snake in the Garden was in fact the Adversary, either, who was one of Yahweh's kids and simply acted with Yahweh to test the faith of the believers.
