Now that the Democrats will allow him to give it, will you watch Trump's State of the Union speech?

I didn't watch it. Now, it is clear that:

1. Trump did not declare a national emergency.
2. Trump is not going to shut the border with Mexico, causing Mexico to stop caravans of migrants from entering the U. S.

He recited facts relating to the success of the economy, giving himself a big 'pat on the back' -- which was really due almost entirely to two things:

1. His tax cut for businesses.
2. The Federal Reserve System deciding to back away from bringing interest rates back up where they SHOULD be in order to facilitate getting rid of a monstrous FOUR AND A HALF TRILLION DOLLAR BALANCE SHEET it accumulated when the Fed bought all that overinflated, 'toxic paper' crap during the 2008 recession... in order to save those "too big to fail", 'rescue' those it picked to be 'winners' and pump-up the stock market.

Bottom line... Trump failed. He didn't mean to fail, and he didn't want to fail, but he failed. Now we will see little but a bloody political axe-fight all the way up to Inauguration Day in January 2021. He had one chance to save his top-most agenda for genuine border security -- SEALING THE BORDER SHUT until the Mexicans 'cleaned up' their side of it, but he backed away from doing that. Now, he's done, and the Democrats will feast on his failure....
