There is no rational rebuttal to the evidence presented in the video.

Tell me where liberals have EVER mentioned attacking the criminals and making things harder for them?

And i never stated that liberals have attempted to keep law abiding citizens from purchasing guns, I stated that they only attack the law abiding citizen by making it harder for them to purchase a weapon or they create their stupid ass gun free zones where law abiding citizens will be unarmed against an criminal with a gun.

So your poor play of words have been proven false, unless you can somehow clearly state that i specifically said that " liberals are denying citizens the right to purchase a weapon" . But don't even try, just apologize. I give it to you though, you would make a great liberal presidential nominee with those play on words as most idiots, which is pretty much the liberal voting block, would not catch such a sly move.

So I will ask you, what have liberals said or done to truly attack criminals who are violating the law?

Ill give you a hint: absolutely nothing. Your only target is the law abiding citizen.

Yeah, just as I thought...all Ddyad can do is blow smoke. he's done.

you should either pay attention to other's replies or stop stalling with these lame tactics. the chronology of the post shows that I didn't call your source discredited or biased...I merely pointed out why it didn't disprove what I previously stated. that you cannot address that point is most telling.

    - - - Updated - - -

Please point out where I stated in no uncertain terms that I wanted to "grab" your gun. I'll wait.

that stupid comparison was dealt with LONG time ago...that it's parroted as a last resort by rabid gun enthusiasts/anti-government types is pathetic. Let me explain....no one is saying that you can't have a gun or a fire extinguisher....but you sure as hell don't walk around 24/7 with an extinguisher on you, now do you? And fires happen by accident, extinguishers are for that direct purpose of putting them out. Guns are designed to kill or practice hitting a target (killing it). Big difference.

Well, to pull the rug out from under your assertions, all one has to do is look at the recent studies PROVING that guns that end up in NYC crime come from an illegal underground from states with MUCH LAXER gun laws that NYC. Passing laws (or trying to) that make it harder for criminals and their associates to purchase guns helps lower crime. Other examples for your education:

If proliferation of guns is the problem then why do cities with lax gun laws not have ear the homicide problems of say Chicago? For example Plano Texas. Where nearly every house is armed to the teeth as a .2 per 100,000 murder rate. And yet Chicago with very little ownership have about 500 murders every year. I mean if simple availability of guns means more murder shouldn't Plano Texas be a blood bath?

Possibly because it is easier to get away with murder in Texas??

But at the heart of this is a logical fallacy - that one example proves the overall trend it does not

You need a broader sampling for true correlation

Fires may happen by accident, but robbery and assault are deliberate actions carried out by one against another. One may not set you on fire, but one may very well attempt to inflict bodily harm on you simply because you are in the area.

    Hogwash.

The entire murder rate, which includes guns and other means, in Montana for 2014 was 3.6 per 100k.

    Your chart is fiction.

That is because you are comparing gun death rate with murder only

Compare the total population of Chicago (2.719 million) against Plano, Texas (274,409); that might factor in the lower death rate by guns, however if you look at the nation overall, you'll find that states with the most gun deaths have high gun ownership and weak gun laws.

That's because those who try to include suicide are disingenuous and stupid.

    No they are not

They are simply looking at the entire picture instead of cherry picking data to artificially produce diminished and hence better looking results

Remember the people most likely to die from gun suicide are middle aged white males - who might not commit suicide if a readily available means were not at hand

    - - - Updated - - -

I notice they are raw figures rather than a rate per 100,000

Suicide and murder are two entirely different things, and trying to lump the two in is both ridiculous and stupid.

So middle class white guys decide to shoot themselves. What does this have to do with MURDER? Nothing of course. Will a law prevent suicide? No.

All we have to do is look at YOUR country, where non-firearm suicide was on the rise since the 1980's, and things like hanging DOUBLED after the gun confiscations.

Having a gun doesn't make you kill yourself. Having depression, mental illness, substance abuse, and ANY means of killing yourself makes you kill yourself.

Gun deaths are gun deaths regardless of whether they are suicide or accident - all of these will reduce with the correct legislation

Some of our gun deaths are a good thing. A criminal being shot to death during a robbery or home invasion will never rob, rape, or kill anybody again and they will no longer be a drain on honest people. I'd rather crime not happen to begin with, but a dead criminal is the next best outcome and a big deterrent for others considering a life of crime.

But they are mainly liberal gun free zones, errrrr I mean zones where only criminals are allowed to carry because law abiding citizens are told not to defend themselves.

Also speaking on mass shootings, shall we take a look at where the main targets are? I mean I'm sure you know, it goes without saying that these maniacs like to attack liberal gun free zones. They appreciate liberal legislation because it gives them the edge over a defenseless crowd.

And we can get into per capita as well, but again you will not like the answer considering the per capita stats also show a common denominator.

The truth is that 65 percent of all the murders in the country Happen in large urban centers in America usually with strict gun laws. The majority of America has a murder rate similar to Europe. Chicago Illinois has 2.5 million people and draws about 500 murders a year. Gun ownership is about 5 percent probably the same as Australia or less. The rest of the state of Illinois with much more lax gun laws is 10 million people with average ownership about 25-28 percent and draws about 250 murders. Proof that proliferation has absolutely nothing to do with the homicide rate and even less to do with suicide. That's just one example. I could cite Detroit, la, ny, etc etc. gun ownership has zero to do with the murder rate because of it did. Rural America would be a hot bed of gun violence

You should also notice those 10 cities are about 1/2 of our murders and only make up about 2 percent of the country.

Shoot I did the math on that. That'd 8580 murders out of 12.000!!! That means more than 3/4 of our murders happen in ten cities. We're talking an area where maybe 10 percent of the entire population lives if that.
