Majority of those death occurred at the beginning of the virus when no one knew much about the virus. You also seem to want to ignore how very different places in NJ and NY are from states in the middle of the country. Not only are certain cities in NY and NJ some of the most densely populated areas where tens of thousands live in apt buildings, but these areas also have a massive amount of people who take mass transportation via subways, buses and taxis. Ever see the foot traffic in Times Square, Wall Street, for examples? Early on before we knew anything about masks and social distancing it makes sense NJ and NY would get hit the hardest. There is no excuse for areas getting hit hard now. We know the precautions to take but these certain states either flat out ignore them or came to the party a tad late.

I find it interesting that nobody made the masks and virus connection right away, it's not like masks or viri are a new thing.

Covid is making every Americans worst fears come true. We are turning into an authoritative society. What is worse is our own citizens are becoming blind sheep, not rising against their own health departments that are becoming authoritative in of themselves. You do t reward a bad kid or dog with treats, same logic applies here.

I have nothing to fear by refusing to comply with the mandate, nor should others. This hysteria has to end somewhere, because it’s only getting worse. Compliance is not key here, when your own health department had been weaponized against you.

 

Just WHO is being shut down anyway? When I go out ALL the food stores are open, the hardware shops. hell the GUN stores are doing a land office business. What ISN'T essential?

Apparently the Trumper leadership wants to kill us all so they can go bowling. Doncha' just LOVE conservative "reformer" types whose 'new' politics seemingly consists mainly in having NO social responsibility themselves while getting all over poor people for having children while below the upper middle demographic.
