Obama acted before pandemic declared

Again, we've seen a ton of misinformation in this and other threads most of it originating from the president and FOX news. Their actions will exacerbate the problems rather than alleviate them. We cannot get them in board without dispelling the lies from their origins, Trump. How do you concretely separate Trump and politics out of the debate? I see no way. I have posted timetstamped videos of Obama doing what they say, aping Trump, that Obama never did only to have someone five posts later denying he ever did those things and the clan jumps in with a hearty clap on the back and "yeah, why didn't the msm jump on Obama for not doing that?"
My hope is that eventually some of it will be in the back of their heads when their leadership at FOX capitulates to the truth because their anchors start getting sick. Better they become proactive late than never.

 

Correcting false information is fine. I have done so myself. Placing more false or misleading information on the board is not fine, which is what I was talking about in my original post on this thread. If you are not doing that then we don't have an issue.

Banned = zero passengers, one or more passengers = no ban

 

Take it up with your media. They called it a ban. Semantics aside travel from China was severely restricted and regulated with passenger screening which turned out to be the right thing to do and slowed the spread of Corona to America.

A lie is telling people medical care will get cheaper and you’ll save X amount and you can keep your doctor knowing full well none of that is remotely true...to get people to vote for you. Using the term travel “ban” instead of travel restriction is misspeaking, since its also the new policy that people have to go through certain airports to get screened first. There is a distinct difference between truly lying and not using exact terminology.
