    After watching the clown act that was the Republican primaries and seeing the result, people see no reason to contribute to the guy who is the obvious winner!

    hey could agree with his points, hope to bribe him in the future etc. Another way of looking at it is why would you donate money to a cause, your answer might be a reason.

    The point is Obama is not attracting those on the fence. But like in his youth when his grandparents banker money put him in private school Obama still has rich bankers to give him money

    This is very bad for Obama's campaign because so much has already been planed on much higher contributions. The ground game has been set and if he falls significantly short of funding goals the campaign could quickly find itself in the red. While this article does correctly point out how much his campaign raised in 2008 it forgets that Obama 2008 also broke the record for the highest burn rate in history as well. In short his campaign wasted a lot of money. If he cant meat the goals set it will get very hard for him to pay the bills and he cant just print money.

    We saw this in the disintegration of the Dean campaign when everyone said "where did all the money go". They had set up such a large apparatus in expectation of ever continuing contributions that the moment contributions took a hit after Iowa and the I have a scream they were flat out broke in no time.

    They don't even want to pass a budget because if they did they'd be accountable. Liberal logic has as a core belief the necessity to leave accountability out of decision making.
