Its says they signed up for the exchange, not the healthcare.

 

Hawaii already has universal health care.
There is an employer mandate that requires a standard health insurance policy be provided by the employer to every employee who works at least 20 hours a week.

The same thing with accidents. If you get killed because your house fell on your head, don't force me or anyone to pay for your funeral. Your family may ASK for me to help out (and I might help out), but to FORCE people to help is wrong.

If this is true, Obamacare will die under its own weight like a morbidly obese person. We wont need congress to do anything, it will die on its own. Its laughable how uneducated people are about things like insurance.

When someone with insurance has a claim, and you carry insurance,you ARE paying for the damage and funeral!

And with healthcare, if YOU don't have insurance, when you end up at an ER and die or declare bankruptcy ( the Right Wings idea of "financial responsibility" ), everyone else pays for your bills as well. We will assume that you don't have a few hundred thousand you are willing to give up, which is why every Rightie seems to lock everything up in corporations and LLCs and live in Right Wing states where creditors cannot take your house for debts.

If by the phrase a "little more", you mean $60,000 per year more, I guess so. But even then, that does leave you with MORE expendable income after paying for this health insurance than the person making $16,000 /year.
