Is this shocking? And the source I got it from is from one of the Democrats news sites. Yahoo news in fact. Given voters have a limited selection among Democrats, and 20 is not a huge number, what advice can they take from Obama? That is my question of the day. So spray me with your replies.

I suggest Obama feels as he does in his thinking that is who they have put up so far.

Dig into the Obama haters and one learns this truth. They hated Reagan and G.W Bush. They tolerate his dad only because he hiked taxes. Democrats enjoy a higher burden put on others by Democrats so long as it does not harm them. This is why tax revenues are so lopsided. They favor those who produce less and punish those who produce more. Upside down thinking in my estimate.

Every Democrat I have ever queried on taxes states emphatically they do not want to pay higher taxes. They can volunteer to pay more and that they always reject.

Doesn’t help for Trump and Republicans to cut taxes while they spend over $1 trillion a year in unfunded expenditures. Trump FanBoys want free tax cuts so their grandchildren can pay for current lifestyles. Both Republicans and Democrats are responsible for this.

I'd support a balanced budget Amendment. For some parties to be fiscally responsible and then the next guys rev up the charge cards all over again? You have to cut off their ability to do so.

Here is my question. Why does anyone alive give a crap about what Obama thinks. He nearly ruined this country.

It's not just our grandchildren, if unfunded govt borrowing gets high enough it starts to drive up interest rates.

Which I hope they do. That will present the bill for all these super high P/E ratios and the markets will tank
See how much they all love Trump when he's just flushed their 401K down the financial sewer his "prosperity" is based on.

Actually, the whole point of that story was that Quasimodo was fairly nice guy

    And when compared to Trump....

If he endorses Biden someone might ask why he ran against him in 2008.
If he endorses his HUD Secretary Castro he's betraying his fellow black candidates.
If he endorses his friend Patrick he's backstabbing his VP and HUD Secretary.
If he endorses anyone else he's betraying his friends.

Trump will be the nominee for the Republicans but like Obama I have no idea who the Democrats will elect. None and I mean NONE are inspiring. I listen to the pundits and it is down to four people. All four have a lot of baggage and the rest of the pack does not seem to be ready to throw their support towards any of them. Let us break it down a bit.
    1. Joe Biden - Joe Biden is against "Right to Work" states so he panders to the Unions. Trouble is Joe doesn't even know Ohio from Iowa. His campaign tries to tell others that he has the Black Vote. Older blacks maybe but not the younger blacks. Even Obama will not support him. He talks about Trumps nastiness and yet he is out their wanting to fight physically anyone who disagrees with him and tells them he don't need their votes. That's like owning a restaurant and telling the customers if they don't like the food to not come back. Well Joe they wont.

    2. Bernie Saunders and Elizabeth Warren - They are pretty much two from the same cloth with a couple differences. They pander to the radical young and keep the Kool-Aid flowing of national basic rights like Healthcare, college, student debt forgiveness, ban on all fossil fuels. They can't give you a realistic answer on how they are going to fund all this but keep preaching you are "entitled" to these things. Their supporters say they are "progressives". Just another word for Socialist or Communist. Sorry Bernie and Elizabeth but the country is not ready for your policies.

    3. Pete Buttigieg - May have a better shot than any of the above to win the nomination. I find it hard for him to be accepted by the people once the ad's start showing Pete and his mate kissing in public. Already I have heard some refer to him as Peter Butt-in-cheek. It's often thought that blacks will accept any Democrat over a Republican but blacks are morally more likely to be against gays and lesbian's as their leaders. If there is a moderate or conservative wing of the party Pete will get little support from them.

    4. Newby's Tom Steyer and Michael Bloomberg - These guys are spending millions of their own money which many look at as "trying to buy an election". They may get the air plane and might do enough damage to Biden, Bernie, Warren to knock them out of the race but they will not be accepted by the younger socialist Democrats.

    5. The rest of the field - They all have had their change and not picking up any traction.

    6. Prediction - Brokered Convention with an outsider yet to be named selected. The Winner- Donald Trump.

Some of that spending is baked in by Obama. Democrats never met a bill where taxes were cut that they liked. Also Democrats support higher spending. Recall who tried to throttle the extreme spending by Obama, the congress put some limits to it.

Obama has always gone out of his way not to influence elections. He did so in 2016 when he refused to go public with his intelligence services telling him that the Russians were hacking the election because he thought it might be seen as attempting to influence that election himself. (Naturally enough the Republicans have used that as fuel for their conspiracy generator ever since)

My own opinion is that if the American Electorate has the collective IQ of a rutabaga then a salad from Pantera should be able to beat Trump hands down. The problem is that the American people DID give Trump almost enough votes to win the popular contest last time and we HAVE to beat him big time in 2020 to overcome the fact that everybody KNOWS Trump is going to cheat harder than your little brother on Tank mode in Grand Theft Auto. Biden is our best bet to do that,

If Sanders pivots to the center he could be president easily. He is a very likable guy with great values but like former President Obama said... Most people do not want the country rebuilt. You can still make life fairer for everyone like then President Obama tried to do and got quite a bit done with much resistance from Republicans

What has Bernie ever done for anyone? Do you think politics is based on what I say I can give you? I can promise you everything as long as it isn't coming out of my pocket, so, does that make me a nice guy who should be running for President. There is Utopia for those who live in a fantasy world and everything is given to them, then there is a real world with winners and losers, who are responsible for their own decisions. Do you really believe because you were born in the world that it is the worlds responsibility to take care of all your need? If I give you house should I give you a house that is like all other houses or should I give you a mansion? Would you be envious if I gave you a shack and others a better house? Do you believe that some people should have more than others or do you believe everything should be divided up equally and no one has more than others?

I thought the Dems would pick Warren, but she seems to be failing. Who else can the party choose? No sane person wants the crusty Communist. Joe Biden is showing his age.

That's exactly how Republicans feel about all of the Democrats. There so bad. They'd vote for Trump.
