Much has been speculated under the radar about a possible October surprise.
That the Democrats are gonna pull something.
Rahm Emanuel just addressed his Convention and said something very telling.
Obama's former Chief-of-Staff and Chicago right hand man, used the word
" Crisis " again. He became about the most Quoted man in america a few years ago
with his " Never let a serious crisis go to waste. "
In a rather flat address minutes ago he again stressed the word " crisis ".
And that what this country will be looking forward to is someone who can handle
a Crisis. That Obama is the guy who in a pinch can be counted on in a Crisis.
Is that Code. That maybe the Dems have plans for some October Surprise and
Obama will be the Caped Crusader, streaming from near above like a Superman
to save the day for all of us.
    What say You ?

Oh no...not another October surprise!!! When Reagan pulled his surprise, hostages had to remain locked up until Regan was sworn in so he could get the credit. No...please...not again.

The "Surprise" was moved up to NOW! Began with 1st Lady speech at DNC.

If there is an October surprise, it will probably be Romney deciding he is switching to the Democrat Party for fear of being drowned in the sinking Republican ship.

    Obama has to do something.

Realclearpolitics has Romney and Obama tied dead even about and given the huge lead Obama had over him just a couple of months ago its rather obvious that hes losing the voters.

He can't even fill a football stadium anymore.

Unless the next job report shows a stellar improvement he hasn't done anything that's going to switch people from turning to Romney which it appears they are doing.

Obama needs a 9/11 or something of that magnitude to keep the people on his side. Ever since his support of gay marriage and his "you didn't built that" flub, Romney has been steadily increasing in the polls and will probably overtake Obama in the next couple of weeks unless something happens.

You may have a point. You think somebody could get Bush/Cheney/Rumsfeld crew to drop a couple of buildings in downtown Manhattan again??? They did it before, so they probably could get it done most efficiently of anyone.

Probably CIA could recruit some Tea Party members to wire another building for demolition, or worse..the unthinkable.

Get your head up an see what the polls been saying all along. Romney had this won months ago, the polls you suggest as we knew then we know now or just media generating news. Sure poll register voters instead of likely voters, add in a extra dose of people that agree with you. Yet the progressive right will bite everytime. No wonder republicans win despite themselves! They had you an others in a panick willing to eat your own with their BS polls an yet ya'll fall for everytime an you ask the real conservatives and libertarians to side with ya'll the fools that never get over their foolish actions.

Call me funny but Michelle tonight sounded like Romney's wife!

She looked like the love child of Reese Witherspoon and the Predator. The fascist food czar actually looked like she had a sense of pride as she talked about what built this country. Perhaps, she has had a change of heart.

What you're saying sounds like a conspiracy theory. Got any proof that Reagan kept the hostages locked up until his inauguration?

And anyway, that's not an October Surprise at all. The hostages being released in October would have been Carter's October Surprise, but that didn't happen because Carter was too incompetent.

More like Ronald Reagan's corruption. The hostages had already been arranged to be released with Carter. The corrupt GOP intervened and made sure they weren't until Ronny got it (so Ronny could get the credit). Use your google.

I vote for, out of his desperation (and poll tested), Obama giving Israel the 'go ahead' to attack Iran where the US will be 'forced' into supporting them! This war could be good for the Hero-In-Chief, as the country typically doesnt like to switch presidents in the middle of a war...and, everybody knows that 'killing our enemies' has been good for the president's rating....

Somebody has been listening to the GOP rhetoric today--the reason the venue is being moved is because of "the impending weather"-now I for one appreciate not having to stand in the rain or be electrocuted. So kudos to the POTUS for thinking of our safety first-
You can look at all the polling you want-one could even say, with all the superpac money being spent on Romney's behave,he's not getting anywhere or the money is not making any difference or-like the African vote OBAMA 94%--Romney 0%---WOMEN voters a 20 something swing in OBAMA'S favor-those polls?
Love Rahm & his intelligence-got you thinking already doesn't he? WINK-WINK

It was about this time 4 years ago that the polls had McCain/Palin pulling ahead. They lost by nine (9) states.
