That's stupid. It was good to get steroids out of the game. We already have too many power hitters and too much emphasis on home runs. We don't need any more.

I was at the game last night and he failed to impress. Popped out almost every time. 0 hits for the night, unless I missed one when I went home early.

Trout, on the other hand, 5 for 5 for the night. Amazing performance.

They beat the Angels last night. Although, they got their win because of the Angels pitcher crapping out in the 5th inning and letting 4 runs go in with 1 out left.... Pathetic.

It's way too early to get serious about Baseball ... Basketball and Hokey are still going.

Um, it's never too early to get serious about Baseball. Do games in April, May and June count less than those in July, August and September?

Besides, hockey is the world's most boring sport and the NBA is a sick joke this season.

Actually the Soxs are better than I thought they would be and The Cubs are exactly what I thought they would be.

Man, I can't understand how Pujols goes from Beast to Bust in one off season. I suspect he's not at 100% health-wise, in which case he needs to speak up. Ball players are always stubborn and try to play through a minor injury, while performing below their potential, only to have that injury turn major.

Hockey's awesome. It has the fewest number of overhyped, overpaid, whining (*)(*)(*)(*)(*)(*)(*).

Armando Galarraga even pitched the only 28 out perfect game in major league history. Too bad he won't get credit for it.

Those sports I can't get serious about ever.

And sorry for this stereo type, but are you actually serious about hockey? :)

That was a massive fucc up, but in your own statement it's clear that nothing could be done. There's no such thing as a 28 out perfect game. There can't be 4 outs in an inning. The call was blown, instant replay wasn't available, and that means it wasn't a perfect game. We need instant replay (not for balls and strikes though)

People who don't like hockey or think it's boring don't know anything about it. By the way, how can some people think hockey is boring, and not think baseball is boring? During the vast majority of time taken up during a baseball game, there is literally nothing going on.

I do like baseball, I just don't see how a baseball fan can think hockey is boring.

Baseball is all about the suspense.
Hockey is all about the intense.

People like what they like...ya know. I'm not a huge fan of professional wrestling, yet TV viewership has consistently high ratings. Clearly lots of people like to watch it.

If it's a championship in any sport, I'll watch it...it's the culmination of a season of hard work and dedication...

A regular season baseball game doesn't hold much meaning, but game 7 of the playoffs or World Series can be exciting...much like the NHL finals.

I don't follow pro basketball in the regular season, but I think it's very exciting in the playoffs.

I find hockey to be very dull. Lots of movement, not lots of excitement. In baseball, a run is potentially imminent at every single second of the game.

Between the two teams, an average baseball game has about 300 pitches thrown. Any and every of those pitches is possibly going to result in a run scored. The suspense of knowing that is possible at any moment keeps me on the edge of my seat.

Hockey is exciting when you get into a situation where someone is set up to score a goal, but that is not most of the game. Typically it's dudes chasing the puck and crashing into each other with neither team in a likely scoring circumstance.

I do think instant replay needs to be used more often to avoid situations like that. But technically, that was what it was; a 28 out perfect game. The blown call at first was technically the 27th out and he then went on to get the next guy out as well. The fact that the game would have been over had the call been correct is irrelevant. He still got 28 straight outs in one game without allowing a base runner. That's never been done.

At least he got a car out of it.

The 27th batter was called safe at 1st. Because there was no instant replay, that means he was in fact safe, even though we all know he shouldn't have been.

The Phils won tonight, that's 2 in a row, and Chase Utley comes back tomorrow. Still seems bleak to me, but I will not give up on my team.
