Being the first woman to do something is really an insult if you think about it. It is like saying "hey look what you can do in spite of being a woman".
Ok, this is exactly the kind of person I'm talking about. If I were to hold the door for this person and I got that kind of response, I'd close the door and leave them to open their own gorram door...even if their hands were full. And seeing the "quality" of your posts in this thread...I'm doing exactly that or at least the virtual version of that. I'm ignoring you. I would have to say after looking at all the accomplishments of women that were posted I realize just how much folks bend over backward to keep from hurting women's feelings. So even if the womans feelings were hurt by not opening the door we can smooth it over by giving her an award for being the first woman to open a door for herself. Or perhaps say she invented entering a building.
What is so sad you think oppression and denying people equal rights is just about “hurt feelings” imagine what they could have discovered if they had equal rights at education, it was ten times harder for women to accomplish anything. It’s like a man starting the marathon at mile 12 and beating out women who start at mike 26
