You are still rationalizing bigotry and racism - that does not change the fact that it's bigotry and racism.
You can pretend it's "just being careful" but it's just rationalizing. You are judging someone who has not done you harm and that you have never met on
the actions of other people you have read about. If your whole life, you had read that 90% of black people had never been involved in violent crime ( which is true, most felony convictions are for drug crimes), you would have a different outlook. But you have been programed to think of only those who have committed crimes, and so you try to rationalize your fear.

Rationalizing bigotry and racism is still bigotry and racism.

There are black WWII vets alive today who were denied the GI Bill on it's first round. Should we compensate those people?
If you were from the Plains States, there is a good chance your family may have Homesteaded their Property during the Homestead Act - black Americans were denied those benefits. Generational wealth that was denied them.

IMHO, blacks today have ancestors who paid a higher price for their freedom.
    Yep.
Or, like my family, you came over as an indentured servant from England.

Where are my reparations? Oh yeah, I’m white, so I don’t count.

    The whole thing is nonsense.

And something about labeling everyone you disagree with ass bigots and racists make you feel good. I understand that.
I think applying that label loosely is racism and bigotry.

You might wonder why people who understand guns have certain procedures they follow, whether the think the gun is loaded or not. It's very repetitive; you check the gun you hand to me for examination, and for my own safety- I check it again. That's because we accept it as our obligation to be cautious around risk. IF certain guns were known to be potentially defective- that check would take that into consideration. Same difference, but you don't understand it. I illustrate this because it speaks to mechanical object and the way we look at them, not people- just similar rules.

I look at white people and black people in the same way as potential threats when the circumstances call for it. Color may be absent as a clue, but there are always "tells" as the gamblers say that indicate when to be extra cautious. One of those would be when a person kept telling me that being cautious made me eligible for one of his labels, like bigot or racist. It would give me cause to wonder what his real agenda was.

Criminals do not want to be recognized as criminals, or even potential criminals. Makes their work so much more risky. Rationalizing assault, theft, arson and vandalism and the range of violent crime that we have been permitting as "peaceful protest" is exactly what they want- people who can't seem to get past their hang-ups and actually call crime crime.

Try as you will, recognizing crime, regardless of the color of the person committing it, is NOT racism. Never was, never will be.

sure, lets give blacks 10k for having ancestors that were slaves, let's give whites 10k for having ancestors that risked their lives and livelihoods to free the slaves

everyone happy then we can move on.... plus we could really use a stimulus for the people right about now
