couple of things:

Mulatto people are black. Not half-white, just black. They see themselves that way and so does the general public.

Black people will blame white racism for everything until there are no more white people.

And oprah will always be a hustler.

Nobody is denying what came out of her mouth. You are simply ticked off regarding some free-form paraphrasing expressing what she obviously meant by what she said. That's the trouble, though isn't it? Had Oprah said, "Most people do not seem to be racist where President Obama is concerned and most of his problems in office are due to his own inept handling of his duties and responsibilities," then there would be no controversy -- aside from perhaps Barack Obama, Michelle Obama, Jessie Jackson, and Al Sharpton perhaps accusing her of smoking crack.

2008 primaries candidates/running mates:

• Hillary Clinton
• John Edwards
• Joe Biden
• Chris Dodd
• Mike Gravel
• Dennis Cucinish
• Bill Richardson
• John McCain
• Mitt Romney
• Mike Huckabee
• Ron Paul
• Fred Thompson
• Alan Keyes
• Duncan Hunter
• Rudy Giuliani
• Sarah Palin

So, you admit that Obama has federal, state and municipal experience in policy. Do you still assert that Obama was not qualified enough to run for POTUS?

Does anyone of those people mentioned above have policy experience on the federal, state and municipal level? Since Obama has more political and academic achievement than most people on that list, why are they qualified and not him?

The answer: as Oprah said, we're all thinking it.

Nothing Obama does will ever be good enough. There is a different standard. He could release a mile-long long-form birth certificate and that still won't satisfy many haters.

Obama did not have enough practical experience at the national level to make an effective first term president in any sort of reasonable time span during a time of multiple major national problems. He would have made a good vice president under Hillary Clinton whereupon he could have learned the ropes and gotten some 'safe' management experience, but he was nowhere near ready to be president in 2008. It's just ironic that after he finally had been in the presidency long enough to gain the necessary experience he turned out simply to be no damn good at being president anyway.

Since the right keeps asking for proof of racism, we should play fair...

What proof do you have that Oprah Winfrey is a racist?

obama has the least experience of anyone to win the presidency that I can remember.

And he was elected by (apparently) racist white people.

Unlike Palin or Giuliani, who had no federal experience at all? Why aren't you condemning them for having less federal experience than Obama.

I still don't see why Obama wasn't qualified to run for POTUS.

Actually we may need a new term to describe the average White leftwinger attitude toward skin color. Perhaps it would be more nearly correct to say that race obsessed voters favored a political featherweight over the more practically qualified and experienced Hillary Clinton.

From your reply I must assume you feel anyone who doesn't think as you is a racist. That's enlightening, thank you.

He actually won it. He may be having a beer in the Oval Office as I write this.

He was -- at least in part -- elected by a large black voting bloc. This is the block that will not vote Republican until their policies become more friendly to the black community. This won't seem to happen anytime soon, so the GOP can kiss any hopes of winning many major seats goodbye in the next few years.

It seems obvious, but the more friendly the GOP seems to black people, the more likely they will vote for them.

Yes, I know that Lincoln was a Republican. Yes, I know that many Republicans think that the Dems bought the black vote with entitlements.

I didn't say she was. That's why I wrote "running mate" in the previous thread. Keep up.

A governor of a state who was a vp candidate and the mayor of one of the largest and most influential cities in the history of the world (who was ALSO the leader and decision maker on the spot during the 9-11 tragedy) in comparison to a first term U.S. senator who'd effectively spent only 140 days in total actually performing the duties of a U.S. senator? Ahem! Hahahahahahahaha!

actually no....saying someone said something they didn't is lying.

It isn't paraphrasing....or I can just assume by what you said you are actually hoping the President was killed.

Oprah never said that. Why do you want to spread lies?

Giuliani was also Associate Attorney General, ranked 3rd in the Justice Department. He was a US Attorney for almost 20 years with over 4000 convictions as a prosecutor. I wonder what attorney Obama's record is?

I have a vague memory that Barack Obama argued a case one time in a court of law in his role as a community organizer. I think he won, but I'm not sure. Mostly his law degree was just window dressing for his political career. There's nothing wrong with that as it seems that most of our state and national level politicians have a worthless law degree as well.

Lets see Obama had a White Mother and Black Father.

Eminem has two white parents.

Either a very very poor joke by you or you are showing ignorance.

Try again bomac...

Oprah Winfrey has been a prominent supporter of Barack Obama. She thinks that both he and the Office of President have been treated with contempt because of the colour of his skin.

“There’s a level of disrespect for the office that occurs. And that occurs in some cases and maybe even many cases because he’s African American. There’s no question about that and it’s the kind of thing nobody ever says but everybody’s thinking it.”

Everybody bomac? That is the lie I speak of

Any Liberal knows the weapons of their 'our ends justify our means' warfare, with the #1 being the Race Card.

The 'tools' in the Democrats Political Toolbox:

1) Race Card
2) Slander
3) Name calling
4) Stone Walling
5) Mainstream Media
6) Hollywood toadies
7) - 99) More of the same
