Yesterday I read part of a thread honoring Mrs. Bush. I don't know if it ended up derailing and turning into another pissing contest(would not be surprised if it did)but I was surprised and pleased to see members from both sides being respectful. It made me proud of you guys.

Politics and differences of opinions should be no reason to take joy in the loss and misery of others. If we're taking glee in someone else's pain or death then we cannot act like we have the moral high ground. It's when we unite and listen is when we're at our greatest. This professor has shown she has no desire in doing that, and instead would rather play political sport. Their is nothing but division and ruin down that path. Thankfully she does not represent everyone on the left. She is part of a fringe mindset that will hopefully be continued to be called out and held accountable.

It says that his father was Kenyan finance minister which us not true. When president Obama was born his father was a academician in the US and he was not a finance minister until after he ran away back to Kenya. Obama was not raised in Chicago he moved to Chicago as an adult. You do understand that literary agents are not the source of birth records or the source of truth.

 

I don't even agree with this. Barbara Bush makes Melania Trump look like queen of the sluts in terms of ethics. I read a FB response of a poster who says long ago, after Barbara and George Senior left the WH, he asked to take a picture with them. Barbara happily agreed, getting George to be in the picture. I may not agree with her politics, but Barbara was a class act.
