People are getting desperate. We just had to turn down a skilled welder with a good work history willing to work for 10.00 an hour. We just don't have the work to keep our employees working and had to lay off a welder this week.

It was not because he lacked ability or because he was not willing to work. The work was just not there.

Millions of jobs have moved to Mexico, China, Brazil, and other places.

It is very easy to tell someone to get off their buts and get a job...it is much harder to supply one.

The jobs are not there...not for everyone willing to work...and it ain't getting any better.

 

Untill you get people working...more unrest will follow.

 

Question: If someone were to generously pay for say, 75% of this desperate worker's salary would you hire him then?
