Not every american should be in a 'home'. Some americans need to rent or whatever. You get a loan by being able to make the payments. It is a simple concept. GWB kept telling a democrat congress that things were not going well, that these policies were going to cause a serious problem.. And Frank/dodd and others continued on their merry way insisting that they had everything under control. They are crooks. oh stop. Certain congressmen are the crooks! They usurped power that was NOT theirs. They meddled in the American Economy and caused this problem for ALL of us.

I, nor you can stop it...it is the natural progression of any social construct of scale....

but I can guarantee you that angst laden mobs of manipulated, counter culture leftists pissing and defecating all over Wall Street....while virtually ignoring the real culprit, government...

is not the way to slow it down.

And vice versa. You say it was gov't who went to the businesses and asked them how can we favor you or the businesses got cozy with the gov't and bribed them for favors?
Either way, the bribed gov't has to stop.

Yes, like the mob going to business owners and demanding payment for "protection." The federal government went to the corporations and said you need to pay us or we will enact new regulations.

2000-2006 was a R controlled congress. This housing boom started decades earlier. But really grabbed hold after the dot com bust as a way to pick up the economy. If GWB waited until 2007 before asking questions, he was to late. Why did he not start asking questions when he had control of the congress? My answer, he didn't want to.
These politicians know the game and how to play us. This was constructed by both crooked parties.

    I see you're coming around. :)

Now, grab your bullhorn and emplore those who've purposely misdirected their ire at Wall Street and capitalism, to join with the Tea Parties and go after the real culprit... an out of control, wholly unconstitutional federal government.

There was never anything for me 2 come around to.
The gov't is crooked and bribed. It is the bribers I want to go after, not the bribees. Actually both I want but I think you don't allow bribery, and our campaign system is ripe with briberies.

I have nothing against what the T party wants and even like it myself. But the people that have been the figure heads are, I want to say loonie, but I like RP and he gets called as loonie as anyone, but bachman, palin those types have turned me off to the t party.

WS is as much the cause as the politicians. I like the fact protesters are out there pointing the fact out that bribes from WS has to stop. They have the money, stop the money.

Special Interests groups are breaking no current laws....do you... or these protesters, expect them to "reform" themselves out of some "moral obligation" to the hive?....

Or, wouldn't it be more logical to illuminate and demand an end to our lawmaker's systemic willingness to solicit and accept these "bribes"?

All this protester crap is organized leftist sleight of hand.... purposeful misdirection to project and redirect "the problem" away from the massive central government their agenda REQUIRES...away from market manipulating union extortionists who've pilfered the public coffers with the help from same...

onto capitalism and its most successful players...which they've been indoctrinated to despise.

American product and service consumers are not willing to pay what American workers demand for their products and services. You make money by giving consumers what they want at a price they will pay. The problem with our economy is a shrinking minority apply this practice, while a growing majority simply demand a lifestyle that cannot be supported by the work they are willing to do.

Asking American companies to adopt inefficient and less competitive strategies to absorb the difference between the demands of American workers and the tolerances of American consumers makes about as much sense as demanding American banks lend to unqualified mortgage seekers. With similarly predictable results.
