Congress Approves Aid of $1 Billion for Ukraine
    • March 27, 2014
WASHINGTON — The House and the Senate voted overwhelmingly on Thursday to approve a $1 billion aid package for Ukraine...........

.........The United States’ $1 billion in loan guarantees is dwarfed by the $18 billion in loans that the International Monetary Fund has provisionally agreed to provide and the $15 billion promised by the European Union.

So? No response? Prove an opinion is proof? Prove Trump asked about prior corruption connected to our former VP and future potential candidate was ONLY to help Trump won an election? Not a Dem nominee mind you. Not someone running against Trump. Prove Trump asked a simple question just for his own gain with everyone listening in.

    You can’t.

How convenient... Democrats can't provide evidence that Trump broke the law but vote to impeach him anyways while no Republicans vote to impeach him, and it's the Republicans being partisan. How did I know you guys would pull that line out...

FWIW, people have learned their lesson since 2007 when Congress turned blue and turned down everything Bush wanted/needed to do for the economy so they could blame the depression on him and win in 2008 by saying "Look what Bush did!"

Now y'all create a farce for impeachment, knowing no honest person will vote to impeach Trump, so that when it's over and just in time for the next election, y'all can scream "See the kind of games Republicans are playing?"

You know as well as I do that democrats don't stand a chance to win based on policy and their platform. So tell me, Bower, do you think America will be dumb enough to fall for the democrat deceit again?

Actually it's your problem that you can't recognize propaganda when you see it.

That’s not even the same aid package.

    https://www.google.com/amp/s/mobile.reuters.com/article/amp/idUSKBN0KM1HL20150113
(Reuters) - The United States plans to provide up to $2 billion in loan guarantees to Ukraine this year, the U.S. Treasury said on Tuesday, as part of a broader international package to stave off bankruptcy.

Like other major donors to the country, Treasury said the guarantees would be contingent on the former Soviet republic remaining on track to meet the conditions of its loan program from the International Monetary Fund. IMF officials are in Kiev this week to resume negotiations on the package, currently worth $17 billion.

The firing was part of the IMF conditions.

The democrats knew Trump was never going to be removed from office, so I always believed they used the impeachment to dirty up his name and then all the GOP senators corrupt and participating in a cover up. Now that the left brought Biden into it, the GOP senators can fire back that Trump was questioning biden's activities just as many American news sources were questioning Biden's activities.

And what about Ivanka and Jared, it is on record they made more money, let alone Trump's hotels. Trump supporters seem to have a separate set of rules for Trump.

The only thing that hack dropped was a load of crap. On the country and the rule of law.

    https://www.orlandosentinel.com/opi...attorney-general-failures-20181228-story.html

Let’s review some of the lowlights (in no particular order):

    • Bondi asked the governor to postpone a man’s execution so it wouldn’t fall on the night of a campaign event at her waterfront home in Tampa. Scott obliged.
    • Her office kept appealing a federal judge’s ruling that Florida’s ban on same-sex marriage was illegal, until the Supreme Court finally put the matter to rest. As a parting shot, she fought against paying legal fees of the gay couples who had sued for the right to get married.
    • She joined with other attorneys general to fight against clean water and clean air measures. In one instance, she jumped into a legal fight that opposed efforts to clean up Chesapeake Bay.
    • She was a staunch defender of the Rick Scott doctrine that ex-felons should grovel for the right to vote after paying their debt to society. (Sixty-five percent of Florida’s voters set her and the governor straight in November.)
    • Bondi accepted some $51,000 in travel freebies from the Republican Attorneys General Association, which got its money from corporate sponsors.
    • Early in her tenure, Bondi’s office forced out two top-notch investigators who had won praise for going after companies that were fraudulently foreclosing on homeowners.
    • Bondi wasted taxpayers’ time and money by trying to defend the state’s ban on smoking medical marijuana.
    • As her office was reviewing complaints about getting scammed by Trump University, Bondi’s campaign cashed a $25,000 check from Donald Trump, then did nothing about the complaints.

    No
    - it’s about a power balance between the Executive Branch and Congress. Does the President have the power to ignore Congressional oversight. I guarantee that a Republican House would have investigated Clinton if she had pulled the same power grab. The four years of Benghazi Investigations that ended the week after she lost prove that.

I say go for it also. If it's a smokescreen, let's turn on the CSPAN fan.

I'm against presidents having the power to do such things. We got it backwards. Let Congress do the healthcare and taxes. The President's job is to execute the laws, not create them.

I love it when people who want open borders, entice illegals, kneel for the anthem, dont say the pledge and burn our flag say they know what real Americans want.

You asked if Congress approves loan guaranties - yes

    • Maine—The U.S. may expand its loan-guarantee package to Ukraine to $3 billion this year, pending congressional approval and the successful implementation of reforms in the country, Treasury Secretary Jack Lew said.
